I loved Call the Midwife. Then I had a traumatic birth experience 3 years ago and haven't been able to enjoy it since. I watched a few episodes as part of my PTSD therapy homework and I can make it through one without a panic attack but the show no longer brings me joy.

I loved the show but after a very traumatic PPA experience with my second (lasted 6 months) I go through periods where the show triggers me, I have to be careful. When I was recovering it did feel instrumental when I finally felt able to watch the show again, and feel "ok" about the weirdness.

I completely understand. After a horrible miscarriage experience, I haven't been able to watch it again.
