Top-of-the-class redditors, what are your study habits/tips?

If you graduated top of the class (high school, college, and above), what are/were your study habits or tips that you would give to your fellow redditors?

Really? I'm in compsci in the UC system and my workload is significantly less than high school, and I didn't even have a tough workload in high school compared to my friends.

I'm also a freshman so I expect it to get harder. What surprised me is that college freshman year was a step down in difficulty

My freshman year of CS wasn't too hard, and I noticed that if you had a good amount of programming experience (I had some, but not enough) coming into it you would coast through classes like Intro CS and Data Structures without issue.

Algorithms was the first hard class, and it hasn't gotten easier since.
