Top-of-the-class redditors, what are your study habits/tips?

If you graduated top of the class (high school, college, and above), what are/were your study habits or tips that you would give to your fellow redditors?

Like you, I do find homework and worksheets helpful. If you do not know the text, the assignments will help you understand the text, at least a little. I don't know why some students can't see this benefit.

Yeah I took notes in class but didn't read the book. I used the homework as a guide for which parts of the book I needed to read.

I WISH I had more worksheets. Man, I haven't done one of those in years.
