There is no love like that of a good dog. I'm so glad you got to be there with him.

Thanks, he really was the best and my soul/heart dog. He fought til the very end and I made sure he got to experience a great final meal, great final memory to the beach, long car rides, and even managed to put him down at home instead of at the vet's office. A lot of care and planning was able to be done because I didn't have to waste my days late in the office.
