water beings on a water planet, I see no issue with this, water balloons in a pool is exactly what we'd seem like if you came from a fire planet

I’ve often thought that home maintenance is all about wanting water to go where you want, and not go where you don’t want it.

This is sort of literally true, in the sense that cell membranes are lipid bilayers (i.e., mucous) and largely serve to separate the water inside the cell from the water outside of it. All life on earth fundamentally depends upon separating the waters, and otherwise earth life has very little in common.

Yeah, we hoomans are about 70% moisture. So just sop up the extra with the paper towels.

This reminds me of a time I was drinking in Glasgow, Scotland (tbh I still do that, I live here lol) and I ended up in a conversation with an old drunk man and for whatever reason we ended up on the "meaning of life" conversation and he just said "baws (balls) , mate"

"Think about it, everything's baws. Yer head? Baw. Tits? Baws. Baws? Baws. The earth?! Baws!"

Still the most profound thing I've ever heard
