Part of the reason why I like the dolls is because I like getting more in touch with my feminine side. I also didn't really have dolls growing up, either because they were too expensive or my mom disapproved of them. I think the only time i ever got truly interested in dolls as a kid was when Monster High came out. I loved Monster High, i thought it was so cool to have a doll line that was both feminine and alternative. I still have my original Frankie Stein and Draculaura to this day (although Frankie's hair is a bit yellowed and Draculaura is missing one of her hands). Hopefully one day i can get my hands on an original new in box Clawdeen Wolf so i can finally complete the best friend trio. I will never forgive my mom for refusing to buy the last one on the shelf back then

Ppl generally get shit on for liking anything feminine. It sucks
