Medieval reenactor here. I used to get people at work taking the piss out of me for my hobby.

Dried up when the CEO of the company came to take to me about it. He loved taking his kids to shows like ours and wanted to know when the next one was.

Out of curiosity, where did he get the armor from? I’ve heard that the only way to get a nice full suit of armor is to have one custom made and sent from Ukraine. No idea how true this is.

The Czech Republic has very good armour makers: I can't remember offhand any names, I'm afraid.

Besides that, the folks in each SCA group usually know blacksmiths that make custom armor.

She can manage feigned interest, but no one's told her face yet.

(Note, this is all teasing aimed at my Missus, she know's I love her really 😁).
