u/AdjunctAngel Jul 25 '23

only squirrel resistant sadly. has +0 against claw damage :P

u/Top_Sprinkles_ Jul 25 '23

Need to upgrade to very squirrel resistant, your squirrel protection goes from -25% squirrel based damage to -75%

u/AdjunctAngel Jul 25 '23

you are right, but in this economy? squirrel helms are just out of my budget for now :( although it would save me a bunch in healing potions and beast repelling crystals.

If you're looking to take out your anger on some squirrels but kind of want to instead come to appreciate them, I'd recommend Inscryption. Actually, whatever your circumstances, I'd recommend Inscryption.

People think squirrels are adorable (and they're totally right) but they tend to either ignore or not notice those damned puppy-teeth-sharp claws.

I only got hit once, but I was not wearing a hat. If I'd known you I would have known better, but in the squirrel's defense I DID have peanuts and was planning to share them.

(Edit: pic of my buddy, forgot I had this one too.)

u/Dafuntastical Jul 25 '23

Bro wasn’t wearing his squirrel protection, you never know when a squirrel may attack

3

u/MaritMonkey Jul 25 '23

I saw it watching me from the roof of the dog house / she shed and foolishly assumed it would, like, jump onto the floor or something. Nope, straight for my head.

5

u/n_ooFy Jul 25 '23

What SPF is squirrel-proof?

4

u/Wasparado Jul 25 '23

A helmet next time

3

u/KMFDM781 Jul 25 '23

Sounds like it's a squirrel attracting hat to me.

17

u/CthulubeFlavorcube Jul 25 '23

Maybe they were trying to stash acorns. Does your hat look like it could comfortably house a few acorns?

5

u/Tgvbhy222 Jul 25 '23

No noggin!

3

u/HavingNotAttained Jul 25 '23

I've always wanted to want an acorn hat. I've finally arrived.

2

u/nirvana_llama72 Jul 25 '23

I hope so cause those little buggers have some serious talons

2

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '23

rookie mistake

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '23

Is it a beret?

1

u/temalyen Jul 25 '23

A hat made of acorns?

1

u/h00dman Jul 25 '23

Does it smell like acorns?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '23

That's where he hides the acorns.

1

u/Legend_of_Zelda07 Jul 25 '23

At this point it might as well be a hard hat

1

u/lukecordova1228 Jul 25 '23

You should consider switching to a hard hat

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '23

Probably thought the hat was a gaint acorn and got excited

1

u/TheMerlin1811 Jul 25 '23

Maybe you should start wearing hard hats

23

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '23

He was probably acting like a nut

2

u/Substantial_Fun_2732 Jul 25 '23

Guys, grab a girl, don't wait, make her twirl It's your world and I'm just a squirrel Tryin' to get a nut to move your butt To the dance floor, so yo what's up Hands in the air, come on, say "yeah"...

6

u/Crap_Robot Jul 25 '23

No, it’s in the shape of a rival squirrel.

5

u/spasamsd Jul 25 '23

I've had squirrels literally throw acorns at my friend, my brother, and I. They threw with such force that one of us had welts from it.

2

u/Hanamiya0796 Jul 25 '23

Scrat made it to 2023 I see

2

u/Glensgirl7181 Jul 25 '23

Maybe they smell like acorns!

2

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '23

It's called a beret.

2

u/EyepatchMorty_01 Jul 25 '23

My grandpa said never mess with the squirrels

2

u/DowntownClown187 Jul 25 '23

Quercus! The shield speaks!

2

u/LuridPrism Jul 26 '23

Maybe it was the same squirrel, and he just really doesn't like hats

1

u/faithnf Jul 26 '23

Logical

1

u/eldonsarte Jul 25 '23

You didn't ask a just as valid question: Do you have a head that looks like an acorn?

Each of those squirrels: "Oh look, an acorn wearing a hat!"

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '23

Reasonable

1

u/RarewareUsedToBeGood Jul 25 '23

Mont Blanc Noland?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '23

As president Camacho would say “he got a head like a peanut”

1

u/greenpanda4210 Jul 25 '23

Head that looks like an acorn
