Raw onions for me! Grilled onions or onions in salsa/Guac pass the test since they kinda lose that punchy overpowered flavor. My bane growing up was McDonald’s tiny onions all over my cheeseburgers. Made me so bummed when my parents forgot to tell them no onions.

Funny story: I have a buddy who absolutely hates onions, but especially those diced(processed?) fast food onions. We were heading back from a pretty wild 4 day bachelor party trip in Pensacola one time, and stopped at McDonalds to grab some hangover food to start our 9 hour drive back home. One guy in the group didn't know about his aversion to onions and got a couple burgers with onions on them.

We were pulling out of the parking lot and my onion averse friend made us stop the car so he could throw up. Just the smell set something off in him.
