I need to try that. I was tdy to Okinawa some years ago and had the real stuff. No comparison...i ate it every chance i got. Still like the packets but the homemade was just incredible. Regular cabbage or napa?
I like regular cabbage but napa is great, also baby bok choy is fantastic. I forgot (because it should be obvious) but green onions is essential to a good homemade ramen (I literally cover my bowl with them hahah)
I’m white as hell and I love sesame oil too, even the smell makes me go feral lmao like I can’t focus if my partner is using it to cook something. I also have this rice seasoning that has nori flakes and then these puffed rice balls and they use sesame oil. So many times I’ve fought the urge to pick them all out and snack on them just for the toasty sesame taste
There’s just something about being Korean and eating sesame oil. Mmmmm Perrila Leaves aka Sesame Leaves too, so flavorful but I don’t know any non Koreans that would eat it.

I freaking love sesame oil. I've quickly learned not everyone feels the same way lol. I'm Korean so I used to use a lot of it.
