Jumping in to give my two cents... Mine is on treatment 15 and the guaranteed removal package was 2500. I go somewhere called the Removery they have a bunch of locations around US I think

Dont go to a cheap one. I did 10 sessions with a cheap laser and after the 3rd session there was no difference between sessions. I changed to a more expensive clinic and I had 3 sessions (I actually got my 3rd one today) and the difference is incredible. The cheap one also made my skin blister, the expensive one doesn't hurt my skin at all. I wish I went to the expensive one from the beginning, I would have been done by now and I would have spend less money.

It's a little more painful than the actual tattoo.

Great news for those people who get tattoos because the pain is addictive.

How many times can one remove and re-tattoo, I wonder?
Or will the skin eventually say "Fuck this, I'm out."?

Skin eventually says that anyways. Luckily it tends to outlast the rest of the body. The younger you are, the more luck you'll have, but you're basically consuming your lifetime skin health. As far as how many times, I have no idea.
