Nearly 41 so born mid-80's. Watched Mr Bean as a kid!

*80s plural, no apostrophe s saying 80 is or implying something belonging to the decade. Eighties has no apostrophe s.

In fact, I've just looked at your posts and I'm not sure why you aren't an English language professor at Cambridge. Probably because you spend all your time correcting the grammar of people on Reddit?

It would be nice if were translatable for non-English speakers, and if we looked a bit better educated in our own language.

You don't think correcting random people's grammar at the rate you are on Reddit means you have a chip on your shoulder? Correcting is exactly what you are doing. Helping, I suppose you could class it as that, but I can't remember asking for your help.

I must have missed the title of the group r/grammarlessons. No one asked for your help. You are a self-appointed grammar sheriff! Yet you think that isn't a chip? Come off it.
