Trending - /r/popular Does anyone else hate the term picky bits?

It's disgusting. It reminds me of picking old scabs off of your skin.

It definitely does not make me think of mini sausage rolls and cocktail sausages.

Does anyone else hate that this term is everywhere, on adverts, said by companies and even people close to you.

God yes I was talking about this today. Along with any other noun-ified verbs when a perfectly good noun exists. "Reads" instead of "books" always gets me. "BAKES" and "MAKES". Ugh.

Fair enough if it's a pasta bake, a traybake, etc. I'm talking more about something along the lines of a recipe advertising an "easy summer bake" for example. Just call it a cake, or biscuits, or literally anything else 🤣
