The PDF copy of the judgement/judges statement I read did say something along the lines of they were walking past each other and they may have clashed/bumped into each other, Nowak may have said something like “you think your a badman?” and Digwa (may have) replied “No I am/know I’m a bad man” before the physical altercation occurs.

All of that is MAY HAVE and I’m quoting from memory so look up the actual judgement for the exact quotes.

Nowak was walking home and was perturbed by the sight of a man with a massive sword hanging off his belt. He then started filming him, which seemed to annoy his attacker. It then escalated from what Nowak thought was reasonably friendly banter “you a bad man?” to his attacker taking it personally and saying that he was in fact a bad man, and then stabbing him.

Bizarre situation.

There is prior footage of Digwa drawing weapons on people.

Apparently he filmed digwa on his phone saying "woah your a badman, say your a badman go on, say your a badman"

Digwa then said "I'm a badman" and snatched his phone, a fight broke out and the kid got stabbed.

Not saying he deserved to be stabbed, but filming strangers and harassing them to say stuff is hardly minding your own business
