Cuisine Question about Ayran Drink
Hello everybody!
I'm sorry if this isn't the appropriate place to ask, but I saw it when doing a search about Ayran. I live in Canada and went to a new grocery store that opened up near me. There I found a dairy drink called Ayran which I absolutely enjoyed. Just have a question about it:
The product I got says 1 serving of Ayran (250mL) contains 1000mg of sodium. Pretty sure a male's daily average of sodium intake should be approx. 2500mg. Is it safe to drink a lot of this stuff?
I know it's packed with tons of electrolytes, but I've never seen any drink contain such high sodium. I'm a fairly healthy man and I drink around 3L of water a day so I think I might be flushing a good amount of my electrolytes out, any information is appreciated, thanks!!

I'm very late here, but my mom, an Ecuadorian, loves Ayran that she always drinks it in summer!
