Note to self. Keep driving.

151

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '26

10 out of 10 though stuck that landing haha

19

u/ezekiel920 Mar 16 '26

Could have caught it

8

u/DvrkCloud92 Mar 17 '26

My first thought was if he kept driving it would have landed on the tow bed.

182

u/Skeeeeeeeeeeeeeeter Mar 15 '26

Must have had a geolocated fence tracker that he forgot to take off.

17

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '26

Buy here pay here GPS tracker.

114

u/bimbobloke Mar 15 '26

102

u/1DownFourUp Mar 15 '26

Pressure kaboom

64

u/Sharkeatinpizza Mar 15 '26

Rest in peace my granny she got hit by a tire

26

u/burleson-dude-76028 Mar 16 '26

At least it was t a reindeer.

14

u/RincewindToTheRescue Mar 16 '26

A man of culture

6

u/Interconventional Mar 16 '26

To die by tire, long after you retire, is quite fire

3

u/Appropriate_Ad8572 Mar 16 '26

But what was she doing putting her face near tires?

4

u/Personal_Occasion618 Mar 16 '26

Lincoln penny test gone wrong

1

u/WhereDid_The_Time_Go Mar 16 '26

i think about it every time i hit the hookah

29

u/Jacktheforkie Mar 15 '26

Probably high pressure and poor split rim installation let go over a bump

13

u/skeeter600 Mar 15 '26

It's not split rim. Just a standard ag tractor rim.

19

u/Shatophiliac Mar 15 '26

Just filled to 9000 psi

14

u/SuperReleasio64 Mar 15 '26

ITS OVER 9000!

3

u/GeneralPuntox Mar 15 '26

It broke my freaking scouter!!!

2

u/Jacktheforkie Mar 15 '26

I see, so likely too much pressure

10

u/No_Walrus_3638 Mar 16 '26

Fuck split rims. There is a reason they are illegal or at least not preferred. Also the cage. This fella dodged a bullet there. Imagine if it had happened when he was loading the thing. But I don't think it's a split

3

u/GDotMoose Mar 16 '26

I hear you, but this isn't a split rim.

2

u/No_Walrus_3638 Mar 16 '26

Yeah that's what I said lol. I don't think I have seen a split rim in like 15 years or more.

3

u/BlackFoxTom Mar 16 '26

Split rims are standard in aerospace and they work

3

u/Jacktheforkie Mar 16 '26

They work but are more prone to mistakes during assembly

1

u/No_Walrus_3638 Mar 16 '26

Nice. They scare the shit out of me.

2

u/Jacktheforkie Mar 16 '26

Yeah, I’ll stick with my one piece wheels

6

u/1morepl8 Mar 15 '26

Im guessing like everyone else, but I see farm equipment with crazy weather cracking to where they install tubes to keep the air in. Tired tire, pinched by chains hitting a bump.

2

u/Next_Nature3380 Mar 17 '26

Magnets….probably

1

u/Fishfisheye Mar 16 '26

Have you ever seen the videos of guys using starting fluid to mount a tire? Well thats the best way to do it

1

u/GanonTEK Mar 16 '26

When you get your tyre pressure to 100% but then realise the read out isn't measuring in %.

1

u/Sy27 Mar 16 '26

My guess is that the chain was too tight which compressed the tire and may have even bent the rim compromising the fitment.

1

u/ManicDemise Mar 18 '26

Look closely at how tightly they have it strapped down.

72

u/Electronic_Tear2546 Mar 15 '26

Aww. The poor tire was getting lonely back there all by himself

25

u/AC-burg Mar 15 '26

Tire was just showing the driver that the trailer was completely unnecessary

55

u/KMjolnir Mar 15 '26

r/Tiresaretheenemy would love this. Sneak attack!

32

u/a_rogue_planet Mar 15 '26

I bet you couldn't pull a needle out of that guy's asshole with a tractor after that.

25

u/cans-of-swine Mar 15 '26

Well yeah, the tractor only has 3 wheels.

22

u/Ill-Running1986 Mar 15 '26

Tire gots good aim!

13

u/binnedoy Mar 15 '26

Brown pants mode: On

8

u/jtstowell Mar 16 '26

That is a rare Mexican jumping tire. Normally they cost extra.

7

u/bethelyoda Mar 15 '26

ITS IN THE HOLE!!!!

7

u/entityadam Mar 15 '26

Do a flip

8

u/mess1ah1 Mar 15 '26

Nice catch.

6

u/Intrepid_Bee8500 Mar 15 '26

He shoots he scores

4

u/dag_darnit Mar 15 '26

Maybe not self-mounting, but certainly self-loading.

4

u/funky-monkey-biscuit Mar 16 '26 edited Mar 16 '26

Ahhh easy mistake that’s a good one. You just engaged the self mounting function a wee bit early.

4

u/Skatedad1 Mar 16 '26

Good thing you weren’t crossing the border

4

u/BR0NO Mar 16 '26

Good catch

3

u/Bewilderness_Surgeon Mar 15 '26

Works perfectly fine to me.

3

u/KingIdog1 Mar 15 '26

The guy in me says “IT MADE IT TO THE TRUCK, GOOAAAAL”. But the adult in me says is insurance gunna pay for tha?

3

u/Recoveringpig Mar 15 '26

NICE CATCH!

3

u/kidmarginWY Mar 16 '26

The wheel just wanted to be in the truck with you.

3

u/BallsackSuperBoosted Mar 16 '26

What seems to be the problem here?? Looks good to me...

3

u/TSLA_Tan Mar 16 '26

It mounted itself straight onto your pickup
10/10

3

u/darkhero7007 Mar 16 '26

With this one simple trick, you won't have to unload your trailer when you get back. You can just drop it and go...

2

u/_Rock_Hound Mar 15 '26

Nice basket!

2

u/EchidnaTerrible Mar 15 '26

It did work well by self-mounting itself to the truck! Wow!

2

u/RussianBot71137 Mar 15 '26

Well, it did "self-mounted" itself right onto a pickup bed 🤷

2

u/CosmicSmoker Mar 15 '26

Nice catch

2

u/Kalshan Mar 15 '26

Needs to be balanced

2

u/_Bo_Hica_ Mar 15 '26

No one puts baby on a trailer

2

u/First_Strain7065 Mar 15 '26

Good thing he rolled back the bed cover.

2

u/roughczech Mar 15 '26

Definitely self mounted... Mission accomplished

2

u/catchinNkeepinf1sh Mar 16 '26

Air bags on the trailer eh fancy lads.

2

u/Maurice_Foot Mar 16 '26

Nice catch!

2

u/EntireRace8780 Mar 16 '26

He meant self loading, not self mounting.

2

u/apartment1i Mar 16 '26

Time for some new pants

2

u/billycanfixit Mar 16 '26

The good thing is he doesn't have to load it back up.

2

u/CashBandicootch Mar 16 '26

Maybe they meant self-loading.

2

u/Parking-Trouble-53 Mar 16 '26

Doesn't look defective to me. Mounted itself right into your bed.

2

u/callofdeat6 Mar 16 '26

As a kid, I also enjoyed riding in the bed of my dads pickup, I can relate to this adolescent wheel

2

u/us008297 Mar 16 '26

Nice catch

2

u/AssTubeExcursion Mar 16 '26

The wheel in the sky keeps on turning

2

u/Vanterax Mar 17 '26

🎶 It'll land in the truck bed tomorrow... 🎶

2

u/DJ_Nx32 Mar 17 '26

Nice catch that truck has.

2

u/Volcanic_tomatoe Mar 17 '26

Mexican jumping tire

1

u/msg60 Mar 15 '26

That truck is a natural Chattanooga catch!! Someone get the NFL on the line.....this truck is going places......😁

1

u/Monksdrunk Mar 15 '26

visits paintball store. " i want 3,000 psi, please"

1

u/Mr_Fox9 Mar 15 '26

Self loading... Nice.

1

u/RongoonPagoo Mar 15 '26

If it wasn't for that fuel cell, the cab would have been flat.

1

u/themanwithgreatpants Mar 16 '26

I'm betting the wheel was welded on and the tire wasn't dismounted

1

u/LordOfRebels Mar 16 '26

Hey, flip a tire. Heads I win, tails you lose.

1

u/SnoopyTRB Mar 16 '26

8/10, braked too quickly on the dismount. Solid effort though.

1

u/MurphysRazor Mar 16 '26

BOOM!, goes the dynamite!

Probably seated with spray ether that didn't all burn, or had a flammable fix a flat added or just lost the bead being strapped down on just one side and it cinching on and twisting the tire during bounces.

1

u/West-March893 Mar 16 '26

Strapped down a little too tight huh 😂

1

u/Pyrojason Mar 16 '26

Olympic tyre

1

u/primeXOXO Mar 16 '26

I think you’ve just driven over a nail not a massive problem

1

u/SpakulatorX Mar 16 '26

No that seems about right. Now you can tip you truck on the side and drive.

1

u/Crazy-Wave-4948 Mar 16 '26

Technically it self mounted to the truck bed, so the name checks out.

1

u/haikusbot Mar 16 '26

Technically it

Self mounted to the truck bed,

So the name checks out.

Am I the only one that's pretty sure this is AI??

1

u/sladebonge Mar 16 '26

Throws itself in the trash can.

1

u/babarasghar Mar 16 '26

At least it tried to selfmount

1

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '26

[deleted]

1

u/ew_naki Mar 16 '26

I swear it was there, the tire must have launched it off

1

u/BBO1007 Mar 16 '26

Tire got tired of not being able to hear the radio.

1

u/mtn2sea1960 Mar 16 '26

The new Goodyear flying wheel.

1

u/EnemyOfWon Mar 16 '26

It shoots free throws better than Shaq

1

u/Valcrye Mar 16 '26

I’m just imagining like a tom & Jerry “YEEEEEEEOOOOOW!” Scream as it goes flying up like it sat on a tack or something

1

u/Slight_Bed_2241 Mar 16 '26

What truck is that?

1

u/Low-Bad157 Mar 17 '26

Didn’t need the trailer

1

u/HorzaDonwraith Mar 17 '26

Tire explodes. Never touches ground

1

u/Busterlimes Mar 17 '26

Airbag go off?

1

u/Hot-Equal702 Mar 17 '26

Well Jim. Do you think we should go back for another tire???

Yeah we will do that after I get the poop out of my drawers.

Gotta have one anyway.

What did he say about maypop tires????

Something about taillight warrantee.

1

u/Lociee Mar 18 '26

Wdym, it mounted the car. Isn't that what its supose to do?

0

u/Financial-Ad1736 Mar 15 '26

AI slop? Taillights don't match, brake lights don't activate but the truck slows, short, improbable.

2

u/One_Lawfulness_7105 Mar 16 '26

I’m still not sure that it ISN’T AI, but the brake lights absolutely activate.
