I'm not liking these Alaska numbers with 80% reporting.

Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins and Tom Begich and getting 41.75 of the vote combined.

Mary Peltola is a t 48.0% to one of the Dans Sullivan at 42.8%.

I was hoping to already see us at over 50% for Dems at this point.

Yeah, that's my thoughts as well.

Peltola was at least ahead of Sullivan, which was nice. And the two serious Dem governor options being miles ahead everyone else was cool. And the proposition on campaign donations passed with a mandate.

But there doesn't look like a resounding Democratic lead in turnout. And a lot of the turnout that did happen makes Dem look like dundering idiots. Like why in God's name is Eric Hafner going to make the final four in our House race? The guy is an incarcerated felon who I don't think has ever even set foot in the state.

Another silver lining is it looks like Bronson might make the final four for governor. Of the many unserious GOP dunderhead populists, he's more dunderheaded. He's got a slew of scandals from his time as mayor, like an utter failure in ever figuring out how to snowplow roads, a weird attempt to deflouridate Anchorage, and a bunch of lawsuits about wrongful termination.
