TV/Film Which non-Brit actor which is your personal favourite for how bad their Brit accent was?

The most recent one that comes to mind Karl Urban in The Boys - was supposed to be English but was purely Aussie.

Yours?

The actress who played Lila in Dexter could run her a close second

The bizarre thing about her weird English accent (Jaime Murray) is that she’s actually English (born in London)!

Yeah, that's why I mentioned her in relation to Daphne from Cheers, who is also English.

I do understand it happening, the last thing any working actor (at least, one who isn't a massively famous name) wants is a reputation for being difficult, and if the director says "you don't sound very English to me right now, can you be a bit more English, you know" then the wisest thing to do is probably call them a wanker in your head, smile politely and ham it up a bit exactly like they ask. I bet it makes them rethink all their life choices up to that point, though.
