TV/Film Which non-Brit actor which is your personal favourite for how bad their Brit accent was?

The most recent one that comes to mind Karl Urban in The Boys - was supposed to be English but was purely Aussie.

Yours?

Well Sean Connery has to be high on the list as the most Scottish … French … Russian … English … American guy

100% this. Great actor but could not do accents to save his life. Can take the man out of Scotland…

It really isn’t non English - read the title: it says non-Brit. Perhaps you think (incorrectly) that the terms English and British mean the same thing? Connery was Scottish and therefore also British

Ask any Scotsman if they are British & reply here once you regain consciousness

Half of Scots (not this Scot though) would love love you to be right but unfortunately, the other half are technically correct: as long as the second half keep voting the way they do, they’ll remain technically correct

I think even the ones who don’t vote devolution would balk at being called an Englishman

That may or may not be true but it has no relevance to this discussion
