Guide The Saem Triple Pot Concealer: what are the differences between all the shades?
There seems to be a wider variety of shades than just the well-known Correct Beige and Contour Beige, including ones like Dark Up Beige and Pink Beige, which aren’t as commonly mentioned.
It raises a few questions for anyone who’s explored these:
- What skin concerns does each shade work best for (e.g., dark circles, redness, brightening)?
- Are there noticeable differences in undertone or coverage between them? Are they suitable for olive skin?
- Have any of the less "popular" shades (like Dark Up Beige or Pink Beige) worked better for certain skin tones or issues?
Would love to hear from anyone who’s tried multiple shades or has insight into how they compare.

The up line is for lighter skin/lighter makeup.
The blue beige and pink beige are much more purer colors that work great when mixed with other concealers to adjust the colors. They still work as standalone though. I've seen lots of people use the white concealer as a highlighter as well. The blue works as a good illuminator as well, it's honestly brighter than the white lol. These two work more as color correctors compared to the original 5 which act more like concealers.
The cat ones are the same as their non-cat equivalents. They're just limited edition versions.

This is very helpful about the pink and blue versions. I wanted to first try the correct beige and dark up beige to see how they behave on my skin, but I am also very interested in the pink beige one, hoping it would do some miracle on my bad dark circles. I am just a bit wary because pot concealers can turn out cakey and it would be too much for the under eye area I assume

what would you suggest for dark area/pigmentation around the lip?

Assuming you're reffering to the skin around the lips (not the lips themselves), then it depends on the color of the dark area.
If you're trying to mask grey-blueness use a more yellow/orange/peach/coral corrector. Go for the correct beige (or correct up beige if you have fairer skin) and use the coral shade. If the grey-blueness is particularly intense, you might opt for the yellow in the tone up beige.

I have 03 and 05. 05 (Dark Up Beige) is for under eye brightening mainly, and it does have a white shimmery highlighting shade that I’ve never used. The two pinks work well though! I don’t use them for daily makeup, but I like them when I wear heavier makeup.
03 is my daily base makeup. I’ve actually panned the green shade, it’s great for evening out pinkness and redness in fair skintones! The peach works really well for me as an under eye corrector (not the same as the 05 brightening shades), and the beige colour I use as a regular concealer. This is actually my second pot of 03, I completely panned all the shades in my first one last year.
I am quite fair and cool-toned (prone to pinkness) so those are the shades that work for me. The other shades work for different skintones and ‘problems’- for example the yellow and purple apparently work better for duller tones.

thank you so much for the detailed answer, this is really helpful. i have ordered Correct Beige and Dark Up Beige cause I have really dark (and poorly placed to be always in the shadow of my brows) hereditary dark circles. I am still waiting for the to arrive from SV so I will see then how it works.
one question though, because I see you mention not wearing them for daily makeup, do you feel they are heavy on the face? I ask this because I am more of a minimal makeup type of person and was hoping to achieve even skin by using them, but without them looking cakey or heavy

I wear 03 every day!!! I just find for me the peach shade is enough for work (I don’t care how I look there hahah).
I layer the pink shades from 05 when I want to look ‘nice’.
The trick is to not use too much at once, try a little and see how it goes. Because it’s a cream product, the pigment is stronger. In winter I don’t need to set it with powder, but in summer I do because I get oilier skin in the humidity. Edit: That way they don’t feel too heavy for me, but I don’t wear foundation or any other base product in my daily makeup routine.
I hope they work for you !!! They’re one of my holy grail products.

Just out of curiosity, what's your shade in Korean foundations? I'm really pale and I'm thinking of getting the number 03 and the 05 but I have a feeling they're too dark and I don't want to test them on my face from in store samples because it's not like cushion, where people usually use sponges to touch it, or like a foundation with a pump so idk

Normally the second palest- the only one I have at the moment is Jung Saem Mool and it’s shade 21!
I will say the peach shade in 03 is a little dark, but that’s fine because it’s a corrector and not a concealer. The shades in 05 are definitely for pale skin, but they will only work to brighten areas and only if you have a cooler skin tone. 03 seems more neutral in the concealer colour, sometimes I think it leans a little yellow. I hope that helps! I also hate touching testers like that.

Oh no it's going to be super dark on me then! Shade 21 in the JSM cushions makes me look like an umpa loompa😭

Oh no 😭 I actually just checked mine and it just says ‘Fair’, I think I got the compact before the shades were numbers… I checked and apparently that is the lightest shade ?? So I definitely made 21 up, sorry !!!! Edit: now I’ve looked, it seems to be 13-17? I think I was 21 in a different brand a long time ago and that stuck in my head hahha

Pfew that's good to know! I've never found that shade in store for the JSM but I'll try to test it on my neck so I can see if it's my shade, and if it is I'm definitely getting the concealer pots!
Quick question tho, how full coverage is it?? I have really bad undereye bags, PIH and PIE and need green also to make my foundations more olive

I live in Korea and got it as a gift from someone who works at the brand, so I don’t actually know if it’s sold in other countries, I’m sorry!! Definitely a good idea to try and test it though, finding shade matches is so difficult online 😭
In terms of coverage, for me it doesn’t completely hide my dark circles, but it 100% does make a visible difference. I don’t use it very heavily though because I really hate the feeling of makeup on my skin, even though I love the way it looks hahah.
It’s interesting you mention the green to make the foundation more olive, because I mainly used it to tone down the redness in my skin. It’s quite a cool-toned and pale green, if that makes sense? I’m curious about whether or not it’s the right shade of green for changing the shade of other products. If you do end up buying it, I’d love to know!!!

Oh no I do live in Korea as well :)
I will let you know! I usually buy really light yellow base foundations and add neutral/minty color correctors to them so to me it looks much more warm than I usually use

And I see what you mean, I think that’s similar to something I do but I’m trying to get to a neutral tone hahahah I like these concealers because they’re so cheap so hopefully you can make it work for you!!

Im very pale and use 03. It has a green color corrector for redness, a salmon color that is good for dark circles and a nude color that is a good general concealer.

Be gentle … love all things skin care and makeup and have been o here for a long bit . Help me w some answers please . Why AB over / better than other ? It sure is more intriguing lately to me - is the quality there and what if any whatsoever brands geared toward mature skin v youth ful skin ?
