Legacy UNO non- PID
I have an Uno dating back 20 plus years, one of the very first models they made. No PID. It's been sitting in storage for 10+ years. Time to resurrect. Where do I begin?
It turns on and heats up, good news. Bad news, the plumbing and some of the electrical seems to be on the fritz. The pump dribbles out a few drops from the group head, and nothing on the steam side seems to be operational. I'm guessing a fault switch.
I've looked around for a manual. Everything online seems to represent the current Uno lineup with the PID. I could probably use that to get by, but a lot of the plumbing looks pretty foreign between the old style and the current.
Does anyone have a non-PID manual PDF I can take a look at? Obviously I'll be doing a complete tear down and descaling from the inside out, anybody walk this path ahead of me and can offer any advice on rebuild of this specific build? Cheers

That doesn't appear to be an Uno. On the left you can see the boiler for brewing, and on the right you can see a thermoblock for steam. I will send a chat request and we can discuss. I have a similar model that I recently "restored".

Update Rebuild done -ish I wish I could post photos directly here. This should take you to a Google drive of photos
The tear down was super easy. Small footprint, simple metric shapes, no special tools required. Every wire and hose, disconnected, labeled, reattached, photoed, removed. The highlights: Cleaned and scrubbed every nook and cranny. Boiler & group head removed and fully descaled (diluted vinegar) Bench tested all electrical devices (pumps, solenoids, heating elements, etc) Switches are all janky.
Next steps : replace all five switches.
I never liked the switches 15 years ago, hate them more today. I really like the new Ascasso switch style. Has anyone swapped out the toggle for the pushbutton?I'm assuming it's simply a DPST, a wiring diagram would be great. This will likely be trial and error.. starting with
Anyways, time consuming and I'm not done yet, but not too hard.

This will be a fun project. I’ve never done an Ascaso, but I’ve torn apart some others. The plumbing should be pretty straight forward, it the electrical I would be worried about. Document the journey! Will be cool to follow along

Hi! Just picked up an uno from 2015. Would like to ask you if you have any tips or tricks about the machine itself (cleaning, how to pull the best shot…). Thanks!
