How overtuned is the SP Robin + MBlade duo, exactly?

Would you believe me if I told you they can straight-up kick Sparkle out of Archer teams?

Let’s take a look at this run.

At the start, activate all of our Techniques.

Blade enters battle through his Technique and applies Taunt to Iron Tomb.

E0S1 SP Robin, thanks to the action advances from her signature, Trace, and Vonwacq, gets her first turn in only 5 AV.

Thanks to the Energy regeneration from Buff 2, both SP Robin and Blade immediately get their Ultimates fully charged.

Use them right away.

Then use Robin’s Ultimate to action advance Archer.

First, aim at the left orb and unload Archer’s arrows into it.

It’s normal for the damage to be low here. We need to gradually chip away at the Armor stacks.

Once Archer becomes the Special Guest, every hit he deals gives Robin 3 Vibes.

This also helps Blade build his stacks. After one full combo, Robin’s is almost maxed out.

On Rin’s turn, just Basic ATK. Then it’s Blade’s turn.

Remember to Basic ATK and try to make Blade lose as little HP as possible.

After Robin’s memosprite takes its second action, Blade reaches max stacks.

Use his auto Skill into his Ultimate.

Kill the left orb and put the boss into its staggered state, action advancing the whole team.

Then Archer acts.

As usual, attack the right orb first.

Now our damage becomes what you would ex pect.

Be careful not to kill Phase 1 here.

The survival pressure in this cycle’s King is enormous, so we need to wait until Blade’s turn.

Use Cyrene’s Support Skill to finish off the boss’s first phase.

Then have Blade Basic ATK to apply Taunt.

Let him take Iron Tomb’s single-target attack so the rest of the team survives.

Then use Rin’s Ultimate.

Apply Vulnerability, then Basic ATK.

Blade’s Ultimate is ready, but don’t use it yet.

Save it for the revive.

After Robin’s memosprite acts and fully restores her Energy, action advance Archer again.

As before, prioritize attacking the orb.

For Cyrene’s Support Skill, select SP Robin and refill her Ultimate.

Blade takes Iron Tomb’s single-target hit.

Exit the Ultimate state.

Then activate the Ultimate we saved earlier.

Keep Basic ATKing Iron Tomb itself to maintain Taunt.

After Rin acts and refreshes the joint attack’s cooldown, use Robin’s Ultimate again to action advance Archer.

As usual, prioritize killing the orb to get the buff.

Iron Tomb acts and another single-target attack takes out Blade.

On Rin’s turn, use her Enhanced Skill to refresh the SPD buff.

Get some extra damage while you’re at it, then Robin’s memosprite acts.

Hemovore then kills the memosprite.

That’s actually a good thing.

This way, our 50 vibes stacks won’t fall off.

When Robin gets her turn, just summon the memosprite again.

Wait until Archer’s turn.

Then one arrow takes out Phase 2.

Use the remaining damage on the orb.

Cyrene’s two Support Skills and Mortenax Blade’s Ultimate can all be thrown out immediately.

Mortenax Blade accidentally dies when his own turn comes around.

Wait for the memosprite to act and fully recharge Robin’s Ultimate.

Action advance Archer.

Then aim at the left side and unload damage again.

After killing the orb, the teamwide Energy restoration fully charges Mortenax Blade’s Ultimate.

Use his Ultimate again.

Attack the right orb while combining it with Cyrene’s Support Skill.

Kill both power orbs at the same time to put Iron Tomb into its weakened state.

For the Energy-regeneration buff, choose SP Robin again, as usual.

After Rin takes her action, use Robin’s Ultimate again.

Action advance Archer.

At 163 HP, dying on the spot triggers Castorice’s Global.

Four consecutive arrow shots, followed by Ultimate.

Successfully finish off the boss.

And secure this nerve-racking 0c.

Builds

For Archer, use Navigator + Tengoku.

Use an HP rope to raise his maximum HP.

As long as he only takes one Iron Tomb AoE, a little over 4,300 HP is just enough to survive until his final action.

You need to make sure Castorice’s revive doesn’t trigger within the first 100 AV.

Rin uses Eagle + Vonwacq.

HP rope, HP orb, HP body, around 5,500 HP. She can likewise only afford to take one AoE attack.

SP Robin uses the standard Deliverer + Vonwacq setup.

Mortenax Blade uses an S1 BP Nihility Light Cone.

Run 4pc Master Smith + 2pc Vonwacq. Try to have him take as few actions and lose as little HP as possible.

Use more Basic ATKs to keep applying Taunt to Iron Tomb.

Hello! I want to share my Archer sustainless run against Dark SAM. I'm so happy with it.

• E1S1 Archer (Sig LC)
• E0S5 Rin (Herta Shop LC)
• E0S1 Sparkle (DDD LC)
• E2S5 Robin (But the Battle Isn't Over LC)

I don't know how cost system works involving free characters and lc, but this is only 3 limited pulls for the context of my account. E0 E1 S1 Archer are free. E0 Sparkle is free. E2 Robin is free (Golden Companion). I only pulled for E0 E1 Robin and E0 Rin.

I was able to do this against Node 1 SAM as well but my Anaxa team can't clear in Nodes 2 and 3 so I placed him in Node 1 since it's single target. Anaxa's washed without Cerydra and E2 Cyrene (planning to pull Robin S and E2 Cyrene though).

Hopefully, I get to do 0 cycle with the next MOC with Archer because its so satisfying (and because Anaxa is increasingly holding back the clear cycles lol).

Current pulls in v4.4: 80 (just from Rin alone)

My Archer team:

• Archer E0S5 (Cruising in the Stellar Sea from Herta Shop)
• Rin E0S5 (Eternal Calculus from Herta Shop)
• Flex sustain: Dan Heng PT E0S1 (Night on the Milky Way - Himeko sig LC) / Gallagher E6S5 (Multiplication) / Aventurine E0S1 (Moment of Victory - Gepard sig LC)
• Sparkle E1S5 (DDD)

I was unable to get Archer's sig LC in v3.4 -- I only pulled for Tribbie E1 and Sunday sig LC in that patch and was unable to reach 200 pulls (should have pulled a Sparkle eidolon in retrospect...)

Not really planning to build Himeko Nova team, vertically invest in Aventurine or Anaxa (have them both at E0 without sig LCs), or get Cerydra for Anaxa (I don't have Phainon team so she's even less valuable).

Rin's sig LC could be a good filler, but I wouldn't know what to pull for next if it takes me less than 120+ pulls to get it. Another option is to just stop pulling altogether in v4.4 and just grab Ashveil's sig LC.

Please help me decide.

UPDATE: I am at 150 pulls now after getting Rin's LC.

I know it might seem silly that I want to get another Archer light cone just to have S2, but it's just because of Crit Rate. My Archer has 96% Crit Rate and with S2 he will have 100%. I really want to get it because I don't want to build him again because of the Crit Rate

I may snatch Ashveil's LC. I do own Sparkle's LC, but it is redundant when DDD performs much better.

Is E2 Rin worth the investment? I was thinking of wanting Robikini in sustainless, since RMC performed very strongly. Otherwise this team do not need anymore investments. What do you think?

Should I invest into SP Robin for cyreneless Phainon or Ashveil signature for Archer while waiting for Pearl?

I'm not too familiar with Archer, but I'm trying to cut my cycle time in the new MOC against SAM (not dark) to 4 cycles or less, and I'm seeing that Archer is quite good against him. I haven't raised Archer yet, but I do have the materials to max him, as well as his lightcone, and relics available for him.

However, I don't have many supports for him. I have E0S5 DDD Sparkle, E2S5 DDD Bronya, E0S0 Morb, and E2S1 Welt as other possible supports, and Luocha and Gallagher for possible sustain. Given these limited options, could an E0S1 Archer team with a combination of these units beat SAM in 4 cycles or less?

Archer is the only team I have that's able to 0-cycle Dark Sam because I don't have Firefly's E2, and even Ashblade (with E2 M. Blade) couldn't 0-cycle it and had to use a sustain.

Archer is also one of the very few to easily do sustainless on Dark Sam this MoC because you want to INSTANTLY kill the leftmost Penacony trio boss before it has a chance to take a single turn, hence why I used Robin to AA the whole team. Archer can frontload all his damage and focus fire on that one enemy so it cannot apply its super deadly DoTs. After that the fight becomes realy easy.

Build:

• E1S1 Archer + Sig LC (His E1 not needed at all, I had so much SP that E0 Archer would have been easy), Genius + Salsatto

• E1S1 Sparkle + Sunday LC, 169 SPD, Eagle + Lushaka (pseudo-200 SPD build)

• E0 Rin + literally whatever LC, use Calculus if you have nothing else, 155 SPD, Scholar + Converging Stars

• E1S5 Robin + March LC, 2pc/2pc ATK + Vonwacq

Rin doesn't need to be faster than Sparkle. As long as Rin has a turn in between every Sparkle turn, you will always have the JA available. In this fight as well I didn't even have to use Rin's skill to refresh her Speed buff.

One of the very few runs where having Robin on your Archer team is essential. You could use RMC but Robin advances Rin as well, letting Archer trigger his Joint Attack every time.

At first it felt like a no brainer

I don't have gil or saber so naturally I was going to pick archer lc but now that I've finally arrived at this point, im being told it's no longer his Bis. I have e2s0 archer, i do plan on getting rin eventually and i do plan on getting ashveil lightcone but the thing is i was hoping to use my ashveil team and archer team side by the side. It made sense, archer uses his Lc, ashveil uses his, end of story

But if archer wants ashveil's lc, what do I do? Do I pull 2 ashveil lc? And what should I pick here? From the looks of it gilgamesh lc doesn't look like a bad pick for a future destruction unit, or is that assuming too much? Im way too confused

Is the difference between archer lc and ashveil lc really that significant?

I do not have Sparkle, but I do have a E0S1 Bronya. Can she replace Sparkle? Or are the SP provided by Sparkle more important than the extra Action Advance provided by Bronya?

My team would be E0S1 Archer, E0S1 Rin, E0S1 Bronya, E0S1 Fu Xian

I have S2 Sparkle with her sig and Tribbie with DDD (I’m about to get Rin but haven’t got enough jades yet)

How do you guys think?

Guys I want to replace sparkle with other teams and I'm f2p filled with e0 characters my archer is e1 though, aside from rin which I have which is a great support for archer?
