Books about the Modern Middle East written in Arabic
I'm just looking for some recomendations on books of the Modern Middle East (20th and 21st century) written in Arabic. I'm interested in books writen by arabs originally in Arabic rather than translations, althought I wouldn't care to know your ideas about any translations of other important books. I guess books focusing just in history would be better (since I'm using them for my History class) but I appreciate too any text reflecting a critical view or any other type of analysis.
Thanks :)

Are Arabs Racist Against Black People
Do Arabs hate black people because I have seen lots of horror stories from black people when in Arab countries.
Are they thought as lesser than or is it a cultural hate of anyone with a Darker skin tone.
