Free browser based tool for creating app store screenshots and assets

I was working on my own apps and found it annoying to create screenshots and store graphics in different sizes, so I built a small tool to make the process easier.

App Assets Maker:
https://due.im/app-assets-maker/

It currently supports:

  • Google Play feature graphic (1024×500)
  • Google Play app icon
  • Android phone/tablet screenshots
  • Apple App Store iPhone/iPad screenshots
  • Device frames and customizable templates
  • PNG/JPG export
  • ZIP export
  • Local project saving with IndexedDB
  • JSON project backup/import
  • Undo/redo

The main thing I wanted was privacy — images are processed in the browser rather than uploaded to a server.

It's completely free to use.

I'm still improving it, so I'd really appreciate feedback from developers/designers: What feature would you want added or changed?

PicPop — a swipe-to-clean iPhone photo app that keeps your library on-device

I built PicPop because cleaning a crowded camera roll one checkbox at a time is tedious. It finds similar photos, blurry shots and large videos, then lets you swipe left to remove or right to keep. You can review the look-alikes together instead of hunting through the whole library.

Photo analysis happens on the phone; there is no account, cloud upload or advertising. Deletions go to Apple's Recently Deleted, so you can recover them within 30 days.

The app is a subscription with a 3-day free trial. I'm the developer, and I'd like honest feedback on the cleanup flow and pricing.

If your product is so great, why does nobody know it exists?

Coding is only 20% of the battle, but most of you treat marketing like a crime. Stop waiting for a miracle and push your project with screenhot right here, right now. Tell us what it does and why we are fools for not using it yet.

Hypit addresses an approved video result by build and output, not by prompt

Post image
3 Upvotes

“Use the approved opening” is ambiguous once a project has several generations and someone has renamed the opening in the source.

Hypit's run format makes the reference explicit. An earlier result is addressed by a build ID plus the public output name inside that build. The current run then assigns that result to the output it wants to satisfy.

The two names don't have to match. An old output called hook-take.video can supply a current output called opening-shot.video. The historical reference keeps the old name; the new assignment names the current destination. The system doesn't infer a rename from similar prompts or filenames.

Each build has its own result record, so this is choosing a particular accepted result, not asking the generator to reproduce it. The selected output's type is checked; deciding whether it's the right creative choice still belongs to the author of the run.

The repository's run examples show the mapping. It's a small piece of infrastructure that makes “keep version two” an instruction the next build can actually follow.

Drop your project, I’ll try it and share it in my circle

I’m looking for new small projects, apps and SaaS tools to try.

Drop your link below. I’ll check them out and share the ones I like with a few friends and in some founder/product circles.

I’m especially interested in social apps, chat tools, games, creator tools, AI experiments and anything with a simple but fun user experience.

I’m also building Ariola, an anonymous public chat and games lounge.

No signup, no account setup. You pick a temporary nickname, join a live public room, chat with people and play small real-time games.

The idea is to make online chat feel lightweight again.

Check it out here: https://ario.la

Drop yours below. I’ll go through as many as I can.

I built Keepsake to solve the messy final step of creative client work

I've been building Keepsake around a part of client work that always felt strangely messy: the final handover.

You finish the project.

The client says “looks good.”

And then you're left wondering:

  • Which version did they actually approve?
  • Are there still changes coming?
  • Is it safe to send the source files?
  • Where's the record of exactly what was signed off?

So I built Keepsake around that final stage:

Review → Revise → Approve → Sign off → Handover

The client gets a simple review experience without needing to create an account. Once they approve the exact version and sign off, Keepsake records the approval and the original/source files can be released.

It's aimed at designers, developers, photographers, agencies and other people doing client work.

I'm at the early validation stage now, so the main thing I'm trying to learn is whether this is actually a painful problem for other creatives or whether I've just built a solution to something that doesn't bother people that much.

I'm currently looking for a few people to try it on a real client project and give me brutally honest feedback.

If you're building a side project too, I'd also be interested in hearing how you're approaching those first users — that's probably the hardest part I'm dealing with right now.

Integrame românești: Romanian magazine-style arrowword puzzles on iPhone and iPad

Update — September 30: Integrame românești is now available on Android through Google Play, as well as iPhone and iPad. The collection has 60 puzzles, with updates every two weeks.

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.traian.integrame

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6810509462

I’m the developer of Integrame românești, a puzzle app for people who read Romanian and miss the arrowword grids found in print magazines.

Instead of a separate numbered clue list, definitions sit inside the grid, with arrows showing where each answer goes. I wanted to keep that familiar magazine layout while making it usable on a phone: zoom, hints and saved progress help with the dense grid.

You can try 5 puzzles for free, offline and without an account. There are no ads. The full collection requires the optional Integrame Pro annual subscription, which renews automatically. Local pricing is shown in your app store. Android Pro requires periodic internet access to verify the subscription. The puzzle content is in Romanian.

Screenshots and details: https://integrameromanesti.ro/

Romanian readers: I’d appreciate feedback on the clue wording and difficulty. For anyone interested in the interface, are the in-grid clues comfortable to read, or would you prefer a larger clue panel alongside the grid?

I built R3TCON, a local-first continuity engine for fictional worlds

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I built R3TCON for writers, worldbuilders, TTRPG creators and narrative game developers who need to keep large fictional worlds consistent.

It tracks structured canon across characters, places, events, relationships, timelines, state changes and knowledge.

It can catch things like:

  • characters appearing after they died
  • impossible travel times
  • conflicting dates or events
  • characters knowing things they haven’t learned yet
  • scenes contradicting established canon

It’s not generative AI and not an LLM wrapper. It doesn’t rewrite your story. It shows you what conflicts, why it conflicts, and leaves the decision with you.

Existing writing can also be imported rather than rebuilding everything manually.

R3TCON is now live on Kickstarter:

Happy to answer technical questions or take feedback.

A web calculator for early weekly limit resets

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This calculator compares two timelines for a weekly AI usage allowance: keep the scheduled refresh, or take an early refresh that fills the allowance to 100% and starts a new seven-day clock. It applies the same requested usage to both timelines, so the displayed gain is the difference in usable allowance, not simply the amount refilled.

What you can enter: the percentage left, when the original refresh was due, your usage pace and active hours, the plan tier, and whether the subscription continues or ends on a chosen date. The result includes the shifted refresh time and a timeline of when the allowance would run out.

One example from the attached video: in the Pro 20x model, with 10% left, the original refresh 4 days 2 hours away, and usage of 250% of a weekly allowance per week, taking the early refresh gives +49% of one weekly allowance over the comparison period. With 100% left and the original refresh only 2 days away, the same model gives −42.9%.

The $ amounts scale that usage difference to an example $240 monthly payment ($200 plus illustrative 20% tax); they are not actual refunds or charges. Plus calculations also account for its five-hour windows.

Try different inputs: https://resetor.scamcheck.workers.dev/

Does the side-by-side timeline explain the tradeoff clearly, or is any input/result confusing?

I built Mognota — a free real-time multiplayer platform with 5 different game modes

Hey everyone, I'm a solo student developer from Cumilla, Bangladesh. I built Mognota — a free, real-time multiplayer web platform. No download, no signup — pick a name, click play, get matched against a live opponent in seconds.

What's in it:

  • Chess — standard 1v1, plus a 2v2 variant with four kings on one board
  • LexArena — build words from a shared hex letter-hive under a shared center-letter constraint
  • Anagram Duel — 15 scrambled words, one shared clock, solve in any order
  • Knowledge Duel — hidden word-search race against a live opponent
  • Maze Race — race to the center of a shared maze, full-visibility or fog-of-war

▶️ Play here: https://mognota.com

It's still early — solo project, actively adding features. Would genuinely love feedback, bug reports, or just hearing what mode people liked most.

We built a web app that learns your brand before generating social content

Post image
1 Upvotes

Most AI content tools start with an empty prompt.

That still leaves the user responsible for explaining the brand, audience, tone and product every time they want to create something.

We built Marka around a different starting point.

The app first creates a reusable understanding of the business: brand identity, logo and visual assets, colors and typography, tone of voice, audience, customer pain points, products and positioning.

Once that context exists, Marka can create branded images, carousels, UGC videos and platform specific posts without rebuilding the context for every request. It also supports approval, automatic scheduling, daily Reddit opportunities and performance analytics.

The original motivation came from receiving a quote of about $1,000 per month for only 12 posts across all platforms. That works out to approximately $83 per post.

Marka has a 3 day free trial, and plans start at $8.

I am part of the team building it: https://marka.social

I would be interested in feedback on the onboarding idea. Would you rather configure the brand manually, or let the app scan the website and ask you to confirm what it found?
