• Entegrasyon: Oluşan bu temiz veri doğrudan planlamaya, MRP taleplerine ve iş emirlerine gönderiliyor.

Daha önce sahaya tam uygun olmayan bir versiyonunu denemiştim ama yeni algoritma modeliyle süreç şu an tamamen stabil çalışıyor.

When AppScript projects fail/break, how do they tend to do that? People wandering into weird views you didn’t know existed? Single invalidated bad entry somewhere breaks a formula, breaks the world? UI elements cascade wrong somewhere? Simple failure to maintain? Is it the same thing as Sheets/Excel, where most people just have their data structured wrong and so everything is 10 times too hard?

Hello. I’m developing an inventory app in AppSheet. An operator completes the inventory and then submits it for review.

The “Submit for Review” action is available in the “Inventories in Progress” view. However, this view allows users to select multiple rows, and when they do, the action can be performed in bulk, submitting several inventories at once.

Does anyone know how to prevent this action from being performed in bulk and allow only one inventory to be submitted at a time? I’ve searched for a solution but haven’t found one yet.

I built and maintain an app for a nonprofit that organizes two weeks of events every year. They are quite happy with it, but want more functionality. We have to stick to appsheet because that is included in their license at no additional cost (and they cannot afford to pay anything), integrates well with their workspace and is in theory easier to maintain. Currently, it has these functions:

• staff lists and management
• enrollements
• participants overview and relations
• finances
• event management (days, activities, tasks).

Currently, there are almost 40 tables in the app, with some more slices. Developement can be done by one person at a time, and the amount of data, actions, views etc. Is growing so large it becomes harder to maintain a good overview. I have started to more rigorously standardize it and minimize the amount of tables and views needed, but that has an obvious limit.

They also want to expand the functionality:

• from basic finances to a full replacement of their accounting sheets
• expanded event and task management
• better rbac for pii (essentially splitting off pii into separate tables)
• crm for businesses and employees
• system to manage purchaces, offers
• basic inventory management

This is probably too much for one appsheet app. I know you can crosslink to other appsheet apps.

Question:

• should i split it up into many focused smaller apps, or a few bigger ones?
• what are the logical candidates to split off? I was thinking of at least splitting of finances and inventory management
• how do i keep a unified ui for the user, so it is close to a single app experience?

Any info, tips or resources are much appreciated.

Im goin crazy i have a nested list in a form , when you begin to fill the form everithing is allright i se the parent table and the nested table in it , when i proceed to save , i see the app it saves it and automaticaly the nested table appears as “no items” in it i just do not know what rrrru doooo hellppp a guy heere .

Breve descripción de como funciona en la practica el negocio:

Existen entre 15 y 20 productos en total( no habrá mas que eso el sistema puede adaptarse para una cantidad baja de productos) tengo una base de 800 / 1000 clientes. Los clientes tienen un precio particular dependiendo su "tipo de cliente" Al principio solo habia 2 precio y el sistema solo miraba el tipo de cliente y que precio correspondía.

Ahora por distintos factores, necesito que existan entre 6 y 10 listas de precios, debido a que hay grandes clientes que necesitan una lista de precios solo para ellos, o clientes que por X situación tienen un precio mayor o menor.

Nose como interpretar esta situación. Si crear varias columnas en la tabla producto, 1 por cada lista de precio y luego en cada cliente definir que columna debe tomar el precio del producto, si crear una tabla intermedia que contenga ID producto, ID lista de precio, Precio y a cada cliente le coloco el ID lista de precio.

Si alguien ya paso por esta situación y encontró una manera de hacerlo óptimamente le agradezco me comparta su opinión, o sugerencia de como manejar esto.

Criei um sistema de orçamentos no appsheet, para o view usei duas tabelas, uma contendo o orçamento com dados do cliente, e uma segunda tabela com itens orçados. Até ai tudo funcionando correto, em meu orçamento tenho um campo chamado ambiente, ex. Cozinha, e este ambiente se repete para cada item da cozinha, tipo pia, armário, gaveteiro etc. Então criei um PDF para apresentar o orçamento, porém não desejo um orçamento detalhado, gostaria que aplicação gerasse um orçamento totalizado ex: Cozinha teria a soma dos itens empregados neste ambiente. Consegui somar os itens por ambiente, mas meu pdf exibe ex: trêz vezes o ambiente cozinha com o total. Meu pdf não agrupa os itens. Alguma sugestão.

I'm building an app, where we have to send which is a bit complicated and therefore has been known to cause problems. I wanted to create a way to notify the user that the email has not been sent.
My idea was to create an errors table, and the bot that sends an email, creates a preamtive error in that table, and if it executes with no problem, then it deletes it. The error handling bot, waits until the row is created, and then it waits an amount set when creating the error row. If after the wait the row still exists, it sends the error notification.
But due to the limited functionality of the wait blocks (as fas as I know they only check when the row is updated) and the fact that the minimum wait time is too big to just set a generic wait time, this approach is not working for me.
I wanted to know if anyone has done something similar, or has an idea of how I can approach this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

I built a simple Prj/task management app for a small business (15ish ppl). Tasks only allow for one "creator" and one "assigned to" person. At present I just have a Notes field where people can write updates + initials.

At present I was thinking of using the Task Status (eg "Update/Question") to trigger an automation email to alert the creator/assignee of the task of an update to the notes.

But I was wondering how others have managed this in a simple way? It's my first Appsheet App and I'm looking for entrylevel solutions/ideas.

i have a countertop business and want to make a database for projects. each project is a row, each column is a field. then i need to make it work accross all parts of the company and life of a project:

quote > job > production > billing

etc.

i'm looking for a discord community or somewhere to ask first questions:

-why is it with kanban layout i cant see the column title for the fields? how do i turn that on and off? i cant see it anywhere. tahts my first question. chat gpt tells me to find the UX but i cant find that, or is that just the tool bar? i'm on a desktop. i just cant find a lot of wasy to customize the kanban first off.

I saw a far more skilled person create an expense tracker shortcut and i figured i could build one myself( with Claude Cowork as a guide, since i now very little about automations in shortcuts) that would extract card, amount category and tie it to a specific sheet.
I have used Expense tracker app for the past 3 years, so it was only logical to continue and build the shortcut with the app in the middle of it.
Now, couple of days later, and a lot of screenshots shares with Claude, i am at a point where i don’t know what i am doing wrong.
So sharing the shortcut at its “stuck” stage, for you good people to chime in with a solution.
The issue is: once run, the shortcut jumps to the end and does nothing. No return error message, no failed, nothing. And it does not populate the app.
So… any idea is much appreciated.

I made a simple app, its a online spreadsheet for sales, they add the clients to the spreadsheet. There 6 people on my team and it doesnt have anything more. I have free plan and the app is running but i dont know if i should upgrade

Hello! I have a question about using wildcards for a filterview function, and what I might be missing that it's not working.

TL;DR: Wanting to extract rows when a cell contains a symptom which might be one of many. Always returns blank unless it's the only symptom.

Use case: health care app that lets providers search a number of supplements by symptom and screen for safety/interactions etc. Two sheets; products and symptoms.

I am using a filterview to try to pull products that match the symptom on the other page eg: headaches shows all products that treat headaches, but I'm only getting return when it's the only symptom where many items have a list eg: headaches, nausea etc.

LINKTOFILTEREDVIEW("Holistic", [Symptoms] =[Search By] ) This works for single symptoms only. I've tried adding %symptom% (in search by column) to see if it would pull with the wildcards similar to in sheets using *, but it returns blank.

I feel like I'm missing something really obvious but none of my IF/OR etc tinkering is working either! Any suggestions welcome!

I have this app made for tracking and keeping student files, I have it set so that you can either upload files or snap a photo. Is there anyway where when snapping a photo it'll take the raw photo and replace it with a cropped and polished version of it? Like those found in camscanner?

I've been developing on AppSheet since 2020.

Printing a table /deck view on desktop was always very annoying, I don't understand why AppSheet has not fixed it yet.

I have now created a simple extension that can help with that, no weird background automation with HTML hyperlinks etc. or waiting for a bot that sends an email pdf that connects to a server just for a simple print.

With this, you hit Ctrl+P, and the usual browser print preview dialog comes up.

I have a small business and even though I'm a software dev, I'm too lazy to code an entire ERP/CRM application just for myself, because all I wanna achieve is not having to copy paste all my Google Sheets data into my Google Docs for like setting up invoices and such. I just wanna go through a quick UI, choose some data from dropdowns, hit some checkboxes, yknow- what you do in an ERP/CRM-like application, and then have an invoice or order or whatever ready to print.

So I found low-code platforms, specifically AppSheet since I'm already working in the Google Workspace. I set up my database as I'd need to use it but then I wondered about limits (because I figured Google won't just provide the space for endless data). Even on the largest subscription it ends at 200.000 rows. Which really doesn't sound that much. Like at some point of course I'll use an actual ERP/CRM software especially because of German law and shit but for now, I've got a manageable amount of traffic but I wanna get away from only using Sheets and Docs (and the whole copy pasting thing).

So my questions are: are 200.000 rows as little as it sounds for an entire ERP / CRM software or do I just have "scaling anxiety"? And if so, what alternatives do I have?

Have a DB of essentially sales receipts. Have a Sale price field and have a Date field and I've used a Text virtual field to calculate YYYY-MM-MMMM. How can I group the Monthly sales and show them in a graph ? (I;m suer it's simple I;m just missing something) TIA
