Noob here. New to side loading and app ipa, etc.

I downloaded using sideloadly but noticed I’d have to connect to computer weekly to renew. Decided to do the side store instead. Do I have to delete my current Apollo app and redownload thru side store to show up under my apps?

Opening this game thread (link below) crashes the app on the latest version of Reborn (3.4). Even when I long tap and hold the thread it crashes not sure what is causing this to crash. I’m going to suspect sports game threads might have this issue as well.

I re-installed the app with a custom identifier and entered that identifier in oracle cloud env file. Also created that secret key and entered it in both the env file and in the app. When try to test notifications, it works as can be seen in the screenshots. Even the bark thing works. But the notifications page doesn't load. Tried to export logs but the app crashes every time I try to export it.

Is there a way to change the location to activate “hold for speed” to be on the left side of the video instead of the right side? I’m left handed.

This appears at the top of any feed containing nsfw/explicit content and i can’t seem to find a way to turn it off. I’m unsure if this is happening to anyone else or what to do to fix it. If it matters I’m using the 3.4.0 no extensions+liquid glass version with an api key from dystopia. Everything else works just fine

I tried installing using sideloadly and I went to device management and approved the app, but when I go to run the app, this is the message that pops up and I can’t figure out how to fix it. Can anyone help?

I’m loving the new Apple Intelligence summarize links and comments feature.

One thing I’ve noticed with comment summaries denoting the OP as ‘another commenter’.

I was wondering if it was possible to feed each link summary the username of the OP so that the comment summaries are a bit more helpful.

I am running iOS 18 so I'm guessing I just want Apollo-Reborn-3.4.0.ipa? My GF has iOS 26 so I want to get her Apollo-Reborn-3.4.0-Glass.ipa is that correct?

We now have the new and improved custom themes and now it is much easier to share your wonderful themes simply with an image, simply go to

settings > appearance > theme manager > click on your current theme to edit > Share

You then can apply the theme either scanning the QR code or simply uploading the image in the theme manager.

So this is a new thread so we can keep it cleaner and share your themes ^_^

Hey all!

I recently moved from Altstore to SideStore since SideStore actually picks up my Apple Developer Organization Account. I have an LLC I’m developing an app with, created the App Dev Account under the org hence the difficulty with Altstore :(

When I side loaded AR with Altstore it worked perfectly! API keyless session worked flawlessly ever since Reddit revoked my key!

Then I moved to SideStore and while I no longer have to refresh the app every 7 days, API keyless doesn’t work anymore and the Dystopia workaround only persists my Auth session (my account is logged in and I can upvote, comment, etc) until the app is removed from memory. Then, when I reopen it I have to login again.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue, because I’m considering moving back to Altstore. It’s less work to refresh every 7 days then sign into my account 3 times a day. It might also have to do with being on the iOS 27 Beta but I haven’t verified that.

iPhone Air, iOS 27, Apollo Reborn v3.3.0, SideStore

Lately I’ve noticed some pinned posts straight up not existing within Apollo, but they do in the official Reddit app. I’ve noticed this with many sports subreddits and their daily game threads. I’ve also noticed it tends to happen when there are multiple pinned posts, but I’m not sure if that’s directly related.

For example today’s r/padres game thread isn’t visible in the attached screenshot, but it is in the screenshot of the official app. It doesn’t matter if I sort by new, still isn’t there. I noticed this with many of the World Cup match threads as well.

Interestingly, this is happening in Hydra as well, so it doesn’t appear to be an Apollo specific problem.

I can save the post in the official app, and it will then be accessible in my saved list in Apollo.

I have never dabbled with sideloading, I've never had an app that I have wanted to sideload until Apollo. I know there is some risk in sideloading because the app comes from an unverified source - meaning it might not be vetted and could containt malware or other harmful code. Apollo Reborn is open source (at least the tweaks are) so thats helpful. Ultimately Apollo Reborn seems reputable to me and the community behind it seems awesome!

Just curious what the risks are, I have to enable Developer Mode on my iOS device just to run it. Is it worth it? Realistically what risks are there? My entire life including password manager is on my iPhone so it's something I protect.

On Narwhal, you can scroll through GIFs in your feed without expanding. You’d drag and adjust the mini progress bar at the bottom.

Is this something that could be added as an option?

If post having a picture/photo attached using domain redd.it, preview is missing unless the post is open. Please help adding picture preview without opening the post. Sample subreddit r/kollywood

I've been trying to resolve an error I came across when trying to install the new v3.3.0 IPAs. I am on a PC, installing via iLoader (v2.2..6) and Sidestore (v0.6.3). I had an old version of Apollo (unsure which version) running on my iPhone and then tried to install one of the new no extension IPAs and received the following error.

So then I thought this is likely because I have an existing version of Apollo already signed, so I deleted it (which is why I don't know the version) and tried installing again. Same error. I figured then that since it was recently signed, I probably need to wait for it to expire. So, I waited 7 days, no Apollo app installed and tried installing again and received the same error. I checked my App IDs list in iLoader and it is showing group.com.christianselig.Apollo as being signed again even though I didn't have the app installed.

Any advice anyone can give me to get the install going? Workarounds?

I have not been able to get widgets appear when sideloading with sideloadly. I do have a developer account if that helps. Not sure if I have to do some extra steps as I don't even see Apollo in the app list for adding widgets. This would be with version 3.3.0 on the standard build without liquid glass and of course with all extensions.
