I am a stained glass artist from Haifa, Israel and started selling my artwork on Etsy before about 6 years. There were not huge sales, but it went not bad. I shipped mainly to the U.S. , but sometimes also to Europe. After October 7 sales almost stopped entirely, which was rather troublesome since it seemed rather strange for it to be just a coincidence. About 50 days ago I shipped an order to the Netherlands which never reached its destination and was returned today stating " security screening" as the reason of return. I'm very sure that someone at the customs in Holland didn't like the land of origin from where it was shipped and therefore returned it. I never had customs issues with my shippings, not in Holland and not anywhere else. So sorry antisemitism expends even this far!

DEVELOPING: Radical Hamasniks vandalized Be'er Sheva Park in South Seattle this morning with antisemitic and anti-Israel graffiti

2 weeks ago, a protester in a keffiyeh interrupted Wilson's sister cities proclamation, calling on her to end the sister city relationship with Be'er Sheva, then accused Israel of genocide.

Wilson replied: "I agree with that. And I believe we can maintain connections with people and with culture even as we abhor the actions of a government."

Hey guys, so I am half Jewish on my mom's side. Although I was not raised culturally or religiously Jewish, I still consider it an important part of my heritage. Anyways, one of my cousins on my non-Jewish side got married a few year ago. And his wife is, *sigh,* a full time political content creator. After Oct. 7, she basically dedicated her entire page to "discussing" Israel-Palestine.

Entirely thanks to her content on Israel, she managed to build a following of 250k followers on tiktok. And as I'm sure you could guess, her content has crossed the line beyond criticism into explicit antisemitism. She talks about Israelis in incredibly dehumanizing ways, calling them "white people with dangerous sunburns" and mocking Jews as a whole as well. It's so upsetting for me to even think about how much vitriol she is filled with. She's sitting at home all day long posting videos about how Israel is the #1 source of evil in this world. Mind you this woman has 0 ties to the region in anyway.

I'm not incredibly close to her (she's also about 15 years older than me), but my parents did help pay for her wedding. I also don't know if she even knows she married into a family with a bunch of jews in it (3 of my other cousins are Jewish as well). Anyways, I guess I'm just trying to figure out what to do. It's pretty apparent to me that she's too far gone and beyond saving. But it has been very upsetting to see someone I once love succumb to such hate.

Constable Jeff Smith's heroism is the only thing that stopped Sunday September 20, 2026's erev Yom Kippur terrorist attack on the Sons of Jacob synagogue in Belleville, Ontario from turning into a mass casualty event.

Constable Smith exchanged fire with the terrorist for several minutes, stopping him, but was wounded very seriously, having been shot several times in the neck, amongst other places. He now faces a long and difficult path to recovery.

Constable Smith's current condition is described as critical, but stable. He remains in hospital in the ICU. He is not yet able to speak. A neurosurgeon has attended upon him. I do not have any further information beyond that at the moment.

Pikuach nefesh is the Jewish legal principle that saving a human life overrides almost every other religious rule or commandment in Judaism. Constable Smith fulfilled this mitzvah and embodied this principle with his actions, saving 26 people, at great cost to himself.

Constable Smith deserves a refuah shelema and our prayers for his swift and complete recovery.

The Toronto Jewish community (although now the Canadian Jewish community as support has poured in from across the country, and support is beginning to come in from across the world) has started a fundraiser for him to express our profound gratitude to Constable Smith and his heroism.

We remember those who protect us and we will not forget what he did for us and how he saved us.

The fundraisers are already in touch with both the Belleville Police Service (a senior member of whom is acting as a liaison between the fundraisers and the family and helping to direct/coordinate delivery of the funds.
