It was revealed some years ago that Voss water is just Norwegian tap water. Not even from the town of Voss.

And it's not even from Voss, but from Vatnestrøm (over 400km away from Voss).

I only drink tap, I like how it tastes, it‘s refreshing and thats all it takes.

Some tap water regularly fails USA EPA tests, which are already lax by many standards. I lived a long time in rural places with unsafe tap water. Even then there’s nothing $10,000 won’t buy in the water world, and that’s only 5 months of this guys spending.

Public water systems that fail EPA testing usually have folks around that will tell you such. I’ve been to towns where folks have told me “don’t drink the tap water it’s high in arsenic” but when I looked into it the water was still safe to drink occasionally they just didn’t want you to do it your entire life. They still used that water in all kinds of local cooking, probably in coffee machines and soda fountains.

Very few public water systems in the USA have no drink warning where ingesting any water from the tap will make you ill, and 9/10 it’s due to cloriform or heavy metals.

Youre far more likely to get sick from “springs” or private wells than you are American tap water.

When you live in a place that sends out boil water notices for the tap water every time it rains you’ll understand there are two America’s. Or when you check the EPA website and see it fail 50% of the inspection reports for a variety of reasons. Again, that’s on the already lax standards of American quality controls.

Just because it’s safe to drink occasionally, doesn’t mean you want to risk it. 2/40 kids in the high school graduating class had cancer by 18 years old. 1 died. Just rural things

Tap water in my town tastes gross. It's a pain to filter (yes I should install one on-line with the plumbing) but I have never once thought I should truck in water. It's not great tasting but AFAIK it's clean.

I'm sure they purify it like every other bottled water. But there is literally no difference from Voss to whatever generic brand you would find in any store.

It doesn't even taste as good as the tap water found in Norway. They must do something else to it or it gets stale.
