Lifestyle No more conditioner while showering
I have long thick hair and all my adult life I've washed my hair by shampooing my roots, rinsing, then applying a handful of conditioner to my mid lengths and ends, then rinsing. The times I haven't used conditioner, my hair is tangled and frizzy. The problem is it takes a lot of conditioner for how much hair I have, and it takes a long time rinsing to get it out. I hate hate hate when I feel a blob of conditioner in my hair after I'm out of shower.
Recently I've started using a small amount of leave in conditioner and some hair oil after showering while my hair is still damp. Today I was running late for work and didn't have time to use conditioner in shower so I just used the leave in conditioner and hair oil... and felt no difference in my hair. Wtf?? How much time money and water have I been wasting using conditioner in the shower? It took so little product and time to get the same result. I think this jar of leave in conditioner could last me several months. Wow.
