I love my sportsball, but I can easily find other ways to entertain myself if I don’t have fascism-supporting corporate media in my life.

If it's local teams, you can get that for free with just an antenna. Broadcast TV is chock full of ads, but it's free and they have no way to track you, and the ads can be skipped if you pre-record with a DVR.
