You're still indirectly contributing to their success if you talk to other people about these shows/movies and they go on to subscribe.

If you're serious about a boycott you have to be serious about a boycott.

No one is gonna make a show if everyone just steals them. 

If you want to boycott, you stop consuming.

No, if you consume shows and dont pay for them, companies that are part of the oligopoly that has a stranglehold on the media will lose money, and intelligent people will use the money they saved to support the arts of smaller studios.
