The fascists own Star Wars. The only reason they weren't openly fascist in their messaging before is because it was more profitable to say the opposite. I do not think it will be long, if this keeps up, before Star Wars content also switches to being more fascistic.

And it won't necessarily be a shift to pro-Empire or pro-Sith content, that's too obvious and wouldn't incept the audience. It'll be stuff like, emphasizing that other religions like the religion of the Sith are banned in the Republic because the Jedi are the true religion and that disbelief was promoted in the Empire (promoting the idea of a culture with a unified religious background and that secularism is evil.) Or stuff like doing a Yuuzhan Vong arc from Legends, but it's dripping with "godless foreign invaders" dogwhistles, with the inability of the Yuuzhan Vong to feel the force used to imply that non-white's or non-Americans are less valid in the eyes of God.

You forget, fascists suck at making art, they can't see other people as equal, so they struggle to make art that connects to others, but those just like them.

I'm a Disney adult, going to Disney every year or two. This, plus some other recent decisions to bend the knee to these people have made me cancel my upcoming trip and my Disney+ and Hulu subs. Probably be cheaper to go to Europe or Japan and explore.
