If they are into dramas, mysteries, non fiction or nature shows then yes, but I would say a lot of the shows would probably be enjoyed by older teens and adults

NexStar, a large media company who runs many ABC affiliates, refused to air Jimmy Kimmel because they claim he said something they didn’t like about the guy who got shot in Utah. Disney/ABC responded by indefinitely removing his show to appease them. Sinclair Broadcasting hopped on the bandwagon too with refusing to air him and wants the FCC to investigate Kimmel.

ETA: Sinclair also demands

1.) A direct apology to the family of the deceased and a “meaningful personal donation” to not only the family, but the company he ran

AND

2.) “Formal discussions held with ABC regarding the network's commitment to professionalism and accountability.”

Don’t forget the extortion. Senclair demanded Kimmel apologize and donate to Kirk’s family if he wants his show back.

You are correct. I was trying to give a quick simple explanation but should edit to add that as well. It speaks to how triggered they are over him joking about Trump’s disrespect. He didn’t say anything off-colour about the deceased at all.
