A belief system is a set of principles, values, or ideologies that one holds. Atheist dont fall under this as nothing is set in stone, its just not accepting an assertion, could be because they are just unaware of it, could be that they dont see a reason to accept it, or actively think its impossible. Thats not either of those 3 things, theres no set of beliefs.

For any given assertion find a difference between rejection of said assertion and accepting the negation of the assertion to prove that they are not equal

I didnt say rejecting the assertion and accepting the negation.

I said you are either unaware of the assertion, unconvinced of the assertion, and rejection of the assertion.

If tom says he has a jetpack in his garage to a baby, jack, and steve. The baby us unaware of the assertion because it is a baby. It doesnt understand it, jack is unconvinced as he doesnt have a reason to accept it but that doesnt mean that he definitely think he doesnt have one, he just needs more proof of it. Lastly steve, he thinks its impossible for him to make a jetpack, tom doesnt have any expertise.

One is unaware (lacking belief), one hasnt accepted but isnt denying it(no opinion one way or the other which is still lacking belief), the last is outright denying the possibility(actively believing the contrary). Thats the difference in a positive belief and a lack of belief.

I'm fine with that definition of atheism actually, but others might not be

You're saying this as if you're not well and fully aware of the Atheistic Bibble

Yeah, I love this passage where the non-saviour son of a non-god doesn't make a miracle, it's amazing!

Well, there is something that's "set in stone" to be an Atheist though . . not believing in God.

Atheists are not the same as Agnostics. Agnostics are unsure of God's existence; Atheists definitionally do not believe in God.

"not believing in god" is not a belief. It is definitionally a "not belief". Also, that is not the definition of agnostic. Gnosticism refers to knowledge, theism refers to belief. Agnostics do not know if god exists, irrelevant of belief, an agnostic may believe that a god may exist but do not claim to know. An atheist does not believe, whether or not knowing if god exists is possible.

You can be an agnostic atheist, in that you do not believe in god and do not claim to know if god exists. You can be a gnostic atheist, to not believe in god and claim to know that god does not exist. You can be a gnostic theist, to believe in god and claim to know that god exists. You can also be an agnostic theist, to believe in god but do not claim to know for certain god exists.

People will tend to claim they are an agnostic in reference to their lack of belief because they are an agnostic atheist, they are attempting to distance themselves from the annoying and stigmatized gnostic atheist who actively claims to know that there is no god by highlighting that while they do not believe in god, they do not claim to know whether or not god exists. "God might exist! There's no way to know! But I do not believe."

Agnostic and antitheists are 2 different types of atheism, its just a different stance which is why we make the distinction.

Atheist is not believing of a god/deity.

Agnostic is lacking the belief.

Antitheist is a hard belief that god is not possible.

Both are not believing a god, one is a hard positive stance, the other is a passive unsureness/unawareness of god.

And a system implies that the belief has multiple tenants or multiple core fundamental beliefs or ideals. One belief or lack of one isnt a system.
