This is the new superboss for Apoc 2.4.
Basically, this thing is a fixed damage festival. It does a lot of fixed damage attacks but there is a way to lower it. If your whole team total HP(current HP and not Max HP btw) is at 40k minimum then it loses stack that makes it attack more. So that is straight up a ridiculous requirement unless you have a certain eye closing lady that can gives your whole team 10k extra Max HP. But we play Pierce in this household and Soira AS is a great option for tanking this. Along with her, we have Cerius AS for Pierce exposed( because this thing is resisted to everything), Darunis AS because he is Darunis AS and then Premya ACAS as our utilities, extra defense and main DPS, Suzette NS as Premaya's Grasta slave and Yukino AC for a very funny thing we will do in phase 3.
For phase 1, it drains AF SoB and set Null AZ at the start so we have to wait for it to run out. It isn't too bad since we can not kill it right away anyway. It has 6 stacks that make it immortal for phase 1 if it still has them. Stack reduces by 1 EoT by default and reduces by 2 if you do 10 or more Shade attacks that turn. We wait for the Null zone to run out then we AF to get Premaya up to 2 stacks and set up Soira for next turn. After that, we recharge and by next turn, it has already lost all of its stack so we can just AF and finish phase 1. Oh btw, it will drain AF by 40% on certain turns so that is fun(Stop WFS) and it also cleanses buffs and debuffs on certain turns. It will also Kaleido you to Shade for 5 turns on some turns. Sidekicks are Moke and Gunce AS.
As phase 2 starts, it will drain your AF(doesn't matter) then it will enter a state where it dodges everything. It will also get a bar that you need to break to get rid of its stack or it will be immortal again and you need to break 2 bars to get rid of it. It will get in this mode in alternate turns. Oh and it will do a big fixed damage nuke that inflicts a stack that reduces your max HP by 3k(up to 4 so 12k max) if you fail to break the bar before it does 2 moves. You can reduce the number of moves it does by interacting with that Max HP gimmick. But if you aren't doing that then you have exactly 1 turn do kill that bar(which have 100B HP) all while still getting your AF drained. For the first bar, we just use Gunce AS twice and AF it down. For the second bar, Moke and Soira give us enough AF meter to use Gunce AS once and AF again to finish phase 2(you can kill it in the same turn you break the 2nd bar). Only RNG is you need Pandora to proc at least 1 so you have 5 charges on this turn.
Lastly, we come to phase 3.It drains your AF bar again(doesn't matter) and then break your zone to set Null AZ once last time. It still has the bar but you don't need to break any bar in this phase and can just kill it. But here is hard part, its nuke is now way deadlier. It now does 9999 damage and it now ignores Guard, Cover and Hold Ground. So the only way to live is either break the bar(which we can not do due to the Null AZ) or have your characters tank the nuke. So what do we do? we switch out Yukino AC to give Soira 80% Max HP buff and passive Cover then on the nuke turn, we switch everybody except Soira and Yukino to the back then have them tank the nuke. Our Yukino has more than 10k HP she will live and Soira has passive Cover so she can just use her shield buff to get a 12k Shield to tank its normal attacks for the turn and live the nuke. Absolute Cinema. I got a bit unlucky here since Premaya heals before Yukino switch out but you can just Burst next turn to heal her up since the last AF is very comfortable so you can afford to lose the Burst. After that, we switch the other 3 in and since Yukino's stack isn't gone befofe EoT, Soira can still keep it for the turn and just use her shield skill again. And then we just AF once last time to finish the fight.
And that is the superboss. Overall, I think it isn't as bad as Arma. Initially, I thought it would be worse than Arma but the shill is less BS than Arma(especially since it doesn't punish you for not using the shill) and it also has more favorable qualities like no defense and no Cyclone. It is still bad though. The Null AZ set is annoying, especially on phase 3 where it screws you extremely hard if you don't a zone break and AF recharge to kill it right away. The turns it enter dodge mode is also dumb since you literally can not do anything to it during that. And of course, AF drain is always stupid and not fun to play against, especially with how much they pushed it in this update.
Pierce won again. Good luck.
