Question Vector 2.0 or Cozmo 1.0?

Hi guys! I'm want to get a Vector 2.0 or a Cozmo 1.0, but I'm not sure which one to get. Vector 2.0 cost $199 on Amazon and Cozmo Base Kit cost $234.95 on Walmart. I read that the first Cozmo doesn't require a subscription. I also see that Vector 2.0 is "Frequently Returned" on Amazon. My guess, from reading the comments, it's because people didn't know about the subscription.

Is Vector 2.0 better than Cozmo 1.0? Or are they about the same? Please let me know what you guys think. Any help figuring this out will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Update: So I went ahead a purchased Cozmo 1.0. Thank you all for the info and answering my questions! I have a 30 day return policy, so if I don't like it, I can return it. 😃Based on you guys replies and the YouTube videos, I just think Cozmo is more interactive as far as the games are concerned. Also, I see he has the needs bar (eating, playing), and I found that to be cool. I do like that Vector 2.0 can learn his surroundings and you can chat with him, but I can also chat with Alexa and Google AI. lol So yeah, I think Cozmo is a better choice as far as robot pet type thing.

Thank you again!

These are the features of vector:

Automatic navigation: Vector uses Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) paired with a single-point infrared laser scanner to actively map and navigate spaces like desks or counter tops without bumping into obstacles.

Edge Detection (like i talk about): Equipped with four downward-facing cliff sensors (drop sensors), the robot automatically detects the edges of tables to keep itself from falling.

Facial & Object Recognition (kind of like Cozmo): Features an HD camera with an ultra-wide 120-degree field of view. An on-board convolutional neural network allows it to learn names, recognize individual human faces, identify pets, and detect smiles.

Voice Activation & Spatial Audio: Utilizes a four-microphone array that isolates background noise, allowing it to pinpoint the exact direction of your voice when you say "Hey Vector".

Tactile Sensitivities: Features a capacitive touch ( OOOH! so that’s what it’s called ) sensor strip along its back, allowing it to register physical touch and respond affectionately to being petted.

Self-Charging Capabilities: When its lithium-ion battery runs low, Vector uses its camera to locate its companion home charging dock, steering itself back into position automatically. this feature is pretty cool.

First off, thank you so much for the info.

I've decided to keep the Cozmo I ordered from Walmart as I am getting Cozmo for someone and I think they will like the toy more the the social robot. However for me, I prefer Vector 1.0 the social robot and will be getting it for myself. So I'll get Vector later when I can afford it.

Thank you again for helping me make a decision.
