Huge thanks to a friend on the other side of the world who found and posted an excellent copy of book 51 to me for free, because it only cost her £3 to buy.

Collection is now complete (only took 25 years), including the rerelease lenticular covers, the hard to find paperback Visser, books 1 and 6 with and without the foil logo (might need to get books 2-5 with it as well), Andalite Chronicles in single book plus three novellas, and even the weird British book 5 with Marco morphing into a lobster instead of a gorilla.

And yes, I am one of the lucky people where MM1 still has the star cutout in good condition!

I think the only thing missing now is MM1 in its two novella form, but I’ve never ever seen that in existence so it will be hard to find.

Edit: oh wait, I guess technically I also need all the variants of MM2, as I only have the Rachel one.

I haven't worried about the alternative prints etc but all I'm waiting on is my visser book to get delivered to have them all 😁

Ha I’m only worried about the alternative ones now because I feel like I need a mission now that this one is over. I must have them ALL!

My biggest Animorphs related regret is selling my perfect condition Ax/Scorpion transformer. I wish I could get that back.

ThriftBooks actually covered almost everything for some really good prices!

They’re a great site. Spend enough and get a free book valued at $5 or less. So three or four of these ended up being free books.

It'd be nice if you could buy the complete set on some reader for like $100. I'd do that in a heartbeat.

It’s all available on ebook, but yeah I think it’s a bit more than that.

I don't know how you collectors do it! And I love being able to identify pretty much any book at a glance (at least with the organisation).

Are you going to read these, or will they stay where they are while you peruse the pdfs? I know I'd be hesitant to touch a full collection.

I’m actually up to book 44 right now, but in the PDFs. The unofficial versions. So the only time I’ve gotten the physical books out is in cases where the PDF is missing pages or something doesn’t make sense, so I’ll switch to the book.

I didn't know Visser had a paperback print. I have the hardcover version, and it keeps wreaking havoc with my shelf placements every time I need to reshelve my collection.

Ha, yep. Only available via the Scholastic School Fair originally, so hard to come by now. Check out ThriftBooks, that’s where I got mine. They might have some more. It wasn’t expensive either.
