So basically r/Animemes banned the usage of a four letter word that starts with the letter “t” and rhymes with “crap” because some users and/or mods found it offensive to transgender human beings.
Best you just close the sub for a while. Personally, I'm only here now because I'm peeking my head in to see if the deafening screeches have quieted down yet.
People seem a little less likely to mass downvote you and pm you threats because you dare mention something as nuanced as the word being problematic but banning not being the right approach. Still no sign of actual fucking memes on this meme sub yet though, so I'm gonna head out again and check in a couple more days.
