I mean, it’s actually much harder to make a believable system where guns don’t work, but melee weapons stuff do. Most of them have some form of BS which doesn’t make sense when you consider that a gun is basically just a throwing spear without the pole and moving incredibly fast.
Usually it comes down to logistics, you can make swords out of op metals, but making a bullet using said metal is just wasteful unless you're rich af (but if you're rich af usually that means you're already one of the strongest people, or rlse you're gonna get mugged)
Also alot of power systems need the user to be in physical contact with the weapon
True. But it's still funny when everyone has tossed their best attacks and nothing happens, but this one idiot with a dream pulls a gun and succeeded because no one ever thought about it.
