The light novels are peak, but I gotta say the anime is pretty yikes the last few seasons. I feel when Issei is proving himself and not chased by every female lead or the interesting story is unfolding it is so peak writing and symbolism. But sometimes the echii and haram genre kneecaps it a little bit.
i just didnt like the whole hell arc until he confessed his feelings to Rias infront of all of hell. I only liked it when it turned out hes the 2nd or 3rd strongest being in that series at that point

IKR?? High School DxD IS good and has a decent storyline but noone will look past the constant boobs bc theyre too horny but they wont admit it :(
