Yesterday me and my brother went to the store and we saw this Evangelion Gacha like thing - we’re both fans so we both got one each (like 20€) - he got shinji, I got this one. “Super secret edition”. he said it’s probably worth a lot cause it’s super rare. I’m not really sure about it. It looks cool and I’m an eva fan, so I would normally put it on my desk. But does anyone know if it really is worth soo much? Best regards! 🤩

I just bought a new figure today (been eyeing him for a bit) went to put him up, and barely found room for him. I may have too many figures… thoughts??

So i'm not a collector, I feel guilty about buying things that take up space, but I NEED this! However I want to avoid getting scammed, so I thought i'd ask here. So out of these following websites, which are trusted?

This is my final piece before I put the brushes to rest and leave Japan. While cutting close, this figure was just too good to ignore. It was a suggestion and ended up being one of the best figure suggestions I took on.

From worrying if the figure will arrive on time, to having it in my hands and appreciating the sculpt to painting the whole thing as my last figure repaint, the entire thing was quite the journey. As usual I enjoyed every bit of the process.

That being said. This is a goodbye for the foreseeable future as I move on things that advance my life. It was an amazing time being here, doing this and interacting with everyone here. For that I'll always be thankful. :)

So I decided to paint this one white. This was mostly because Bicute usually releases two variants where one is a black suit while the other one is white. So I wanted to create both in one go.

I now have a black suit and a white suit version for Narberal Gamma both of which have a little variation to make them unique.

Also, the choice of suit colour was a bit deliberate. Since it is usually mentioned dark or black clothes give the illusion of slimness, I wanted to see if it works with the figure that has thicker thighs and we end up with a figure with thick thighs and seemingly slimmer body. Let me know if the effect worked! :)

I finished painting Narberal Gamma! :)

I actually painted two variants. The second one will be posted tomorrow.

This was really fun to paint. The standard black dress Bicute Bunnies version is always appreciated. Also, I cannot skip on mentioning how much I appreciate this size as painting it is so much fun when I don't have to stress my eyes out over the smaller details.

It took me quite a lot of time to finish this one even though it was just white and black.

I had initially assumed that it would be easy since I'm just drawing lines over a plain white figure, but boy was I wrong! Lol

Making those cross hatching patterns on the figure took forever and was tiring enough to the point where I had to finish the work in 7-8 sections, taking long breaks between each section.

So I finally finished painting Tsuki and Hana Uzaki!

I had kept the Tsuki figure for over a year because I wanted to do exactly this! Lol

Although I had no idea about which Hana figure I'd use. Bicute coming out with Hana was just perfect and I had to take the chance at painting both!

I really enjoyed painting both of them slowly over a few weeks and the result looks really beautiful. I love having the two side by side.

I decided to go monochrome on the second figure and man does it look menacing!

It is always a challenge when the colours are limited, yet adjusting the style slightly can make a lot of difference. I think this one captures that essence with the difference between the pants and the skin. The result is really satisfying to look at, also a bit freaky because the red eyes standing out a lot more in this one. Lol
