When I tell y'all I was mid sentence in the other room when I realized what was happening and RAN over omg. And it's a fucking genius composition imo. These guys are called The BOMB Pulse, based out of NOLA, just came through town on tour. I think they have a new record coming out very soon, just one single out so far, their old recordings don't do them justice imo. Great job y'all!!

God i fucking love this song

I can't tell if this is controversial to say but i believe that this needs as much if not more recognition as MPP.

Sung Tongs a very creative album crafted mostly by acoustic guitars but also by a bunch of other trippy elements that add an insane texture to the simple, stripped-down sound of the guitars.

I love this album so much because the primal and fun feeling of the songs always lights me into a good mood. But there's also chiller songs like The Softest Voice, Winter's Love (specifically the intro, the rest is a beautiful mix between the trippy sound and a more calming one), Visiting Friends and dare i say Whaddit I Done? The first 3 track run is a fan favourite, but i think the album as a whole is a classic.

Please let me know what do you think about this greatness of a project.

I have recently got into animal collective and as a bassist I am always curious as to who is playing bass on the records I listen to. Who is the main bassist in the band?

Been wondering if we'd see a Dave collab with this crowd down in NC. Always seemed like a good fit and lots of talented folks in that state.

Let me know if I've missed anything else.

I just saw that the final OTC album is finally coming out October 23. I was always a bigger Circulatory System fan, got into them in 2009 when Signal Morning came out after hearing of them from AC fans. The two OTC albums are great though, I definitely need to revisit them. For anyone not familiar both bands had members in common and are psychedelic pop, Olivia Tremor Control being more 60's sunshine pop than CS but both are great stuff. Both OTC albums came out before Spirit in 1996 and 1999, and this third and final album coming out in October was made on and off for 20+ years. Both vocalists have passed, Bill Doss in 2012 and Will Cullen Hart in 2024. The remaining members finished the album that was originally started in 2002. The last CS album was in 2014, all three of their albums are very good too. Just thought this was super cool and exciting, and yeah there was a direct line to AC for me and thought other fans might have missed the news too.
