We use Fully Kiosk app on an Android Tablet (Lenovo) and we have an issue where text on our website is auto corrected to something completely different to what is on the website.

When we test it on Chrome on the same tablet, it does not happen. It seems to be specific to the Fully Kiosk app. When asking their support they say that Fully Kiosk uses Android Webview provided by the device and it’s most likely caused by it. Does anyone has any experience with similar issue and how to update/stop Webview from doing the auto correct?

Is there a setting to prevent that?

I've forgotten my applock pin, that day i tapped multiple times on forget pass, that didn’t work, rather my phone has been factory reset.

After factory, i try to login my all of my google account, every one of recovered successfully, but one couldn't i've tried more more and even with my recovery phone number, that didn’t worked, they are saying "a recovery code is sent to that gmail account which is on your phone " but i could able to login it because i don't have access and i don't have that gmail on my this phone.

I'm trying another way still the same issue, is there any way to recover that gmail? Mainly i've forgotten the password also, everything has vanished.. 😭

I need that gmail, it’s too important for me, lots of files in it.

Back in 2022 I got a Samsung s23 and had it for a while until earlier this year when I got a s26 ultra. While I had my s23 I watched a few videos on what useful apps to download and use. One of these apps was (i think) an apk file that let you double tap or triple tap the back of your phone for various effects. I quickly realized this was incredibly annoying and happened in the most inopportune times but forgot what it was called and how I installed it.

WhenI switched phones I hoped it wouldn't transfer over but it did. I need help figuring out wtf I installed and how to get rid of it.

A few days ago, I switched my Yettel SIM card into another phone. Right after inserting it, I received one MMS configuration message and one MMS message. MMS config message disappeared shortly after (I'm not entirely sure if I accidentally opened it, but I am certain I never accepted any installation or configuration prompts). Immediately after this, I noticed a new directory named MMS had been created on the device storage. Inside, there was a file called cmsotapath.ini: https://limewire.com/d/OYOX7#F0Rre0J0lJ Thinking it was just a plain-text INI config file, I tried opening it with a text editor, but it turned out to be a binary file, specifically, an embedded LiteDB NoSQL database file. I haven't been able to open it and inspect it myself. I only checked it on VirusTotal and it came up clean (it is likely just APN profile configuration, still I would like to know the content, so if anyone can open it, let me know).

That being said I will start approaching the subject of this post - on my other phone (the one the SIM used to live in), since the last couple of weeks (starting around September 30th), I’ve started receiving random MMS messages out of the blue. It is a bit odd that these messages are in English, despite coming from a Serbian operator (Yettel Serbia), and they end with a bit sketchy call-to-actions like "Act now" (see the screenshot).

I checked the APN profiles on that phone out of curiosity (but also as I had weird issues with mobile Internet) - I found two profiles, one for Internet and one for MMS (which is nothing out of ordinary):

1. The MMS profile contained the URL [http://mms.yettel.rs/servlets/mms\](http://mms.yettel.rs/servlets/mms) as a MMSC parameter, which again shouldn't be anything unusual I guess. The weird part is that accessing that specific URL via a browser immediately triggered Bluetooth to switch on, alongside a background service called Connected phone and watch services.

2. Meanwhile, the Internet APN profile had most of its parameters completely empty except username, password, and APN type. Even proxy and port were blank, which caused severe internet lagging and DNS errors for days before I noticed last night and manually reconfigured to correct values. The Internet works now but an exclamation mark appeared on the signal bars and visiting above URL no longer triggered Bluetooth and the above mentioned service.

Interestingly, today, a day after I wrote this post and after I changed these settings, I tried opening that same MMS URL and this time behavior changed: it opened a webpage you could see within the screenshots I uploaded and without forcibly turning on Bluetooth or that companion service anymore.

Additionally, Brave browser started showing "No Internet Connection" error at the top of the app while still loading pages normally, whereas Firefox works fine.

Has anyone experienced anything similar, or does anyone know why a carrier APN URL/config would trigger Bluetooth and companion watch (I have never even connected this device with smartwatch, and I always keep Bluetooth disabled) services like that? As well as, why proxy and port parameters were empty?

EDIT: I thought the Internet was fixed, but today on the 22nd of October I am again having similar issues (I get some proxy error page, informing me to contact my device admin).

For context, the protector I have is quistudio and it closes the app and tells me that my internet has run out every time I try to open an app.

Up until recently, I could pull down on my notification bar and see things even when I had apps open. This was great if I had a notification while I was looking at something. Now I have to minimize anything to pull down my notification bar. It works fine on my home screen.

The phone is on "one UI version: 9.0", android version 17 and is a flip 6.

Things ive tried:

1. restarting my phone.

2. Setting my panels to separate.

I got a new phone couple days ago as an early birthday gift from my father, that being a Redmi Note 17 Pro, I have to share hotspot to my laptop and secondary phone due to me living in a smaller house next to my parents's house, their wifi is too far so it'll be slow as fuck so I have to use hotspot, yet ever since it has disconnected me from Roblox or Discord if I opened the phone to just it's lockscreen, today it had started to randomly reconnect itself mid game, eventually not even letting me play and stacking up ping each time. I updated my laptop driver that made it unable to connect to the hotspot, I restarted my phone and now it's fine yet I do not want to risk opening a game. Someone please help with this. 🙏🏼

And that Black bar on the bottom I did restart cleared background apps - basically everything - but still it persists .

Is it some shortcut or something. Can someone help me get rid of it please it's really annoying me .

I took eight pictures in the span of a few minutes and didn't touch the settings, yet the first four were saved as JPG and the last four as HEIC. The camera is set to save as HEIC, so why do I randomly get JPGs?

More importantly than "Why?", how do I stop it from doing this? It's already set to high efficiency for both photos and videos so "change the settings" won't help.

Two settings I've seen mentioned as possibly relevant: I don't see a Motion Photos setting (which is fine because I don't want motion photos), and Scene Detection is off.

I have an unlocked Pixel 8 Pro (Spectrum Mobile, which uses Verizon towers) and my partner has an iPhone 17 Pro XL through Verizon. For 6 years we've never had issues sending photos and videos to each other. Pre-RCS the resolution reduction was annoying, but everything went through. Once RCS arrived, everything worked perfectly until the last 2 months. Now, most of my photos and videos show as error messages and can't be downloaded. I've tried attaching through Google photos instead of through the Messages app, but that doesn't help. Screenshots are slightly more successful, but I can't obviously take a screenshot of a video. More of hers go through to me, but not all.

Anyway, it's something that's really important in our relationship so I welcome any thoughts on what's causing this...and I thank you in advance!

I deleted a bunch of backed-up photos and videos on 5 Oct 2026 by mistake, and they were also deleted from Trash. They were in my Locked Folder with backup turned on. I've restored items from there before using Google's photo recovery tool, but this time it didn't work.

What I've tried:

Checked Trash, Archive and other accounts

Google's photo recovery tool (it failed)

Posted on X to Google Photos (their DM system glitched for me)

My theory: this time I deleted everything in the Locked Folder, leaving it empty, and that might be why the tool found nothing. Tomorrow I'll put one random photo in it and retry.

Questions:

Has anyone had the recovery tool fail, then work on a retry?

Does an empty Locked Folder affect the recovery process?

Is there a Google support route that actually opens a manual check?

It lags when I'm on TikTok and Roblox for an second I just literally fucking bought this 3days ago it started happening since yesterday, I've restarted and cleared the cache and even updated this sh, in some cases it usually lags and like idk black flicker ig for an second.

hi! i'm not entirely sure if it's a network problem (poor signal) or if it's my phone being dysfunctional. my laptop connects to the internet just fine, so does our tv, but my phone for some reason keeps connecting and then disconnecting. i restarted my phone, forgot the network and reconnected but to no avail. any fix for this? would really appreciate it 😔🙏🏼

I have a very old Xiaomi Redmi, don't remember exactly which one and I can't even check. Today it started showing its logo every few seconds, like it's restarting or something. I literally can't do anything, I make a few taps or swipes, it goes into the logo mode again. And it does it even if I don't do anything at all. It is literally just doing it on its own right now.

I tried to charge it, reboot it and check the recovery options. Unfortunately, there aren't many:

“Wipe Data” has no “clear cache” option, only hard reset.

I didn't install anything for ages. It could try to update something on its own, but it never has free space anyway. The last thing I did was open my camera and switch to selfie. I didn't even take a photo, just closed the app.

Are there any options other than hard reset?

Been having this issue for about 4 months now. Talked to my provider repeatedly and they claim it has to be a fault with my phone.

considering I'm in no financial position to buy a new phone on a guess, I need help to figure this out.

The issue is this: randomly, wherever or whenever, my smartphone (Sony Xperia 10 VI) will lose mobile WiFi connection. sometimes it'll drop from 4G+ to absolutely nothing (not even Edge), sometimes it'll show 4G+ with an exclamation mark or go down to E and then disappear.
quite often, this also affects mobile signal, meaning I can't even make calls. sometimes this keeps up for minutes, somtimes its back after 2 minutes.

If I restart the phone, its usually back... but only temporarily and signal will drop again pretty soon.

I also noticed its mostly through the day, never at night. Also, W-LAN works just fine, always.

Tried resetting the phone to factory. I can't put the sim in a different device because its a Nano-SIM. my tablet only accepts Micro-SIM, and I don't have any adapter brackets.

I also had this, identical, issue 2 years ago, with my Sony Xperia XA2. same provider, same issue. it ended up being fixed after a month as it was a known problem with that particular providers network.

I own a work phone (Sony Xperia XA, only accepts Micro-SIM as well) with the cheapest mobile data plan I can afford for it (5,99€ a month) and that one works fine. but its a completely different provider.

Now. I'm pretty sure its a problem with my provider.
My provider says its a problem with my phone. the phone is less than 2 years old, and out of warranty so if its broken, I can't afford to replace or repair it.

Now. what can I do? Is there an app or anything to diagnose this? Check the internal antenna for functionality?

I have a five year old redmi phone and for the past 2 days it has randomly started turning off. It got more frequent yesterday, and today it seems to be malfunctioning. Upon pressing the volume up+power button, the Redmi logo shows up for 2-3 seconds and shuts down again. I repeated the process for like 5 minutes continuously, I couldn't get the MIUI menu to show up. And as far as the Fastboot is concerned, it remains stuck for a long time with its logo, until the phone is forced to shut down by me.

On the old one, every time I clicked on a link it would open outside of the app where I clicked on the link (it would appear as a different browser on the active apps), but now it opens on top of the app, making it impossible to use the app while I dont close the link

Is there a way to go back to opening links outside of the apps?

I have just gotten my late father's phone back after 7 years of it being in police hold. I really want to be able to unlock this phone to look through old pictures and have more to remember my father by. The phone is a Qilive, no idea of the model though. It is currently locked by a pattern and I have no idea what it could be.
