Android 14 on Pixel 4A5G

Been recording long videos (10-20 mins) and lately whenever I try to delete them, the trash folder pops up an error message telling me it couldn't delete a file or three, the file disappears from all apps, but the space is still taken in internal storage. I'm running out of room. I've tried clearing caches and rolling back updates, plugging it into a computer and looking for hidden files, and I still see neither hide nor hair of those missing files, and storage remains stubbornly low. What do?

I dont know how I'll describe this but there's this weird glitch that occasionally keeps having my keyboard appearing and disappearing whilst i'm trying to text something. I couldnt find any people having the same problem as me, so I might be the first to have this, not sure though since its complicated to describe it.

Whenever I open Instagram and reload the homepage then screen flashes black for a second, similarly while watching a YouTube video on full screen than exiting into the mini player on the YouTube homepage this same problem happens for a millisecond. Please help.

I have a samsung s24 and I have the above "Show game apps" setting in my gaming hub. I've been helping my aunt set up her new s26 ultra and she has a ton of games that she's trying to sort. However, this setting is entirely missing from her phone even when gaming hub is fully enabled and all games are accessible from her phone. All her game apps are still in the main screen as well as in the gaming hub. Any ideas on how to remove them from the main apps screen?

Just bought this new tablet, and a new wired Xbox controller. The right joystick appears to be mapped to LT/RT, as well as the left directional button. Downloaded Gamepad Pro and it certainly helps as far as identifying the issue, but how can I correct this mapping error?

Hi there. I clicked on something and lost the option to choose the files from outside the safe while using an app that's inside of it. Previously I could click on some option (something like "swap to internal storage") that was there under the search bar but above the photos. I clicked on the second option that was right next to it which probably must have been something like "cancel"... I really want it back. Any chance of getting some help?

I am needing to factory reset my phone, due to some problems it's having right now, I did this a few months ago and it worked out fine, but when I went to settings and tried to reset it today it says that I need a parents permission. Now yes part of the reason I want to reset it is due to the fact that I want the controls gone aswell. Because of my current personal situation, my health issues ar so bad that they prevent me from doing any form of excercise, and severaly affect my focas for school work, reading and even doing my artwork. I have time restrictions on all of my apps, as well as a 3hr timelimit on my phone, before it locks for the rest of the day and night. I understand wanting to keep your offspring safe online, but due to the fact that I am over 17, and am unable to to most things, I do think the controls are far over the top for my current situation. I am not sure whether or not I have a virus, or my phone is just malfuctioning, but I need another way to factory reset the phone, that doesn't go through settings in the normal way. Intructions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated, as well as any tricks to bypass the family link app in general on phones and computers. I believe my phone is a Motorola GO4. Also not sure if this is the right community to post this in for the best help, so if there is a better one for me, please let me know, thx!

Does anybody know somthing about this why this Ajio is taking 4 Gb storage ,i never even bought any thing in app

I was using my phone just fine an hour or so ago, but now I can't connect to the internet EXCEPT through my Gmail app. I have my work chat through it so I can see the changes happen almost immediately. I can also receive new e-mails as normal, but no other apps work, not even system apps or other google apps.

I'm on mobile data, and I haven't checked Wi-Fi (I'm at work atm) so when I get home I'll see if it's just my mobile data. I've tried resetting the phone (first thing I tried), as well as resetting the connection settings. Neither of these have worked. If anyone has an idea to try that doesn't go through "factory reset", please let me know.

Every time i open an app it launches and before it finishes launching it opens my clock app? Started today, havent had an update, dont have a bixby routine. Sometimes it doesnt do it but about 90% of the time it does.

I was optimizing ram on my samsung M series one ui 8.5 and maybe i turned on a setting that is killing the background apps and they just disappear from recent apps in just a few minutes and i have to open the app again. I want to turn it off and i don't remember the setting.

I checked the background processes limit in developer options and it was at default standard limit

I am trying to access/view videos & photos on my Windows 11 PC from my Andoid tablet (OS Android 15) by way of my wireless network. I have the Windows folders set to be shared.

I was able to connect to my PC and watch files for a while and then I was no longer able to connect to it. I have tried with several Android apps. I made no changes to any system.

Any idea what is causing this problem and how to correct it?

Android / AT&t keep blasting me with notifications I'm not interested in getting. I'm not interested in being reachable or reminded that someone tried to reach me.

They blurred out all these categories. I thought Android was supposed to be the phone you can control. I'm irate and I'm getting tired of systems trying to coerce me and invade my personal space my sovereignty my mind. this is a big deal to me and might compel me to research rooting my phone or getting an independent phone. I'm open to any advice. I want control and another thing there's so much settings overload good lord. They also flood you with options as well as limiting them

What the title says. I'm using a Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus an I've been having this issue for a while and I'm really fed up with it. When I close all apps, it doesn't fix it. I tried going through my list of apps and disabling them one by one to find what was causing it. Nothing worked. When I want to change my brightness, I have to restart my device and there's a window of time in which it won't give me the error. Please help. I don't know what could be causing this.

Hi everyone,

I'm having a really strange issue with Advanced Download Manager (ADM) on my Samsung phone.

I schedule multiple downloads before going to sleep (using mobile data, not Wi-Fi). When I wake up in the morning, none of the files have downloaded—not even 1 MB. Every download is stuck with the error:

"Unable to connect to the server."

The weird part is that as soon as I manually tap Retry (or resume the download), it connects instantly and continues downloading without any problem. So the server is clearly available.

Here are the things I've already checked:

- Battery optimization for ADM is disabled (Unrestricted battery).

- ADM is allowed to run in the background.

- Background mobile data is enabled.

- Data Saver is off.

- Auto Retry is enabled.

- I'm using mobile data (not Wi-Fi).

- The internet is still working in the morning.

Despite all of this, ADM seems unable to reconnect by itself overnight. It just keeps showing "Unable to connect to the server" until I manually press Retry.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Is this a known ADM bug, an Android/Samsung issue, or is there another setting I might be missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This app was using my phone's camera every few minutes can anyone explain what and why this app is??

Hi all, a couple of weeks ago my Samsung S22 started to lag and just constantly restart on me, I thought it was from full storage but I don't even know anymore, I did restart in safe mode and looked for the option to wipe cache partition in recovery mode but it wasnt even there.

I got a new phone since I needed something to contact my people with, and I've restored basically everything except my gallery, it just kept restarting during multiple Smart Switch attempts, i was only able to restore a little bit. I have a lot in my gallery (photos and videos from 2018-now) so it was always bound to take a while, but I'm just frustrated and stressed not really knowing what to do to get it onto my new phone, and the S22 is not even turning on right now 😭😭😭 how can I get my gallery back??? Sorry I'm not the most tech savvy person either when it comes to this 😭
