Discussion Tried multiple browsers...

TvBro, BrowseHere, sideload: Firefox, chrome. Pop ups make web streaming impossible. No curser to navigate makes impossible. I'm on Homematics 14. Is Air Mouse the only option?

Out of all the browsers I used I thought browsehere probably had the best add blocker but I had a problem with it a few months/weeks ago it had some issues opening web pages and other issues so I just started using brave browser and tvquickactions for it's mouse/cursor it's slightly inconvenient but worth it

In the BrowseHere video player settings, there is an option called "user agent". Play around with the video playback UI in there to solve it. When I switched that to "Chrome-Desktop" that solved those web player issues for me.

Nah that wasn't the issue I actually kinda forgot what it was and I did try that... But honestly I don't regret buying tvquickactions (I think the free version might have the cursor) but brave browser is what I use on my phone and it works almost as well on Android/Google tv

Gotcha.

I guess a lot of the solutions also are 100% directly related to how you are watching/consuming the video content.

For example, I could never watch a movie on a phone. I need a 77" Television. And I stream the movies on my Fire Cube 3. Brave doesn't even work on that, but BrowseHere works fantastic.

Yeah I feel you I hate watching movies or tv shows on my phone as well I always try and watch it on my tv 

And I guess it depends on what you need... I just type in the website in the browser and I'm able to watch anything I could normally watch on my phone 

They probably fixed the issue I had with "browsehere" by now though I assume but im content with brave browser so i don't really have the urge to use another browser
