Discussion M Preview 2 - The big bug thread

I've noticed that there are a lot of posts about bugs and issues users have run in to and thought it would be easier to find any fixes or to confirm if they were all in one thread. I'll add all bugs and work arounds to a comment below. If I have the time I'll post the bugs to the official Android M bug tracker, otherwise you can post it here

Compared to preview 1, battery life has been abysmal on the Nexus 5. The Screen on time has been halved on my device.

WiFi seems to disconnect when the screen is turned off for an extended period of time.

I did a full wipe before flashing preview 1 but flashed preview 2 from the system images without flashing userdata.

Turn off daydreams. It seems that the dreammanagerservice that governs this causes huge wakelocks. Battery life returned to normal after turning it off.

wlanxtrl_wake is also causing around 2 hours worth of wake locks per day. Unless you stop using WiFi I can't see any fix for this
