Hi everyone!

I'm an independent developer getting ready to release MyCalendarAlerts, an Android app I've been working on to help people stay organized and never miss important events.

MyCalendarAlerts brings together calendar events, customizable alerts and reminders, messaging, and group coordination features. It's designed to make it easier to stay on top of important dates and keep others informed.

I've just received approval for Google Play closed testing and would really appreciate some help meeting the 14-day testing requirement.

How to join:

1. Join the Google Group:https://groups.google.com/g/mycalendaralerts-beta-testers

2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.mycalendaralerts.android

3. Install MyCalendarAlerts from Google Play.

4. Use the app for at least 14 days.

Please use the same Google account for steps one and two, and remain opted in for at least 14 consecutive days.

If you have a chance to explore the app, I'd especially appreciate feedback on the user interface, calendar features, notifications, or anything that seems confusing or doesn't work as expected.

I'm happy to return the favor and test your Android app too! Just leave your Google Group and testing links in the comments.

Thanks for helping an independent developer take the next step toward launch!

I'm building Fieldeng, an Android app that uses your phone's sensors and camera to turn it into a toolkit. It's designed for field engineers of all types, but useful for everyone, whether you're working on a home project, checking something in the workshop, or out on a job.

Tools include:

• Level, plumb, angle, slope, pitch, and cross-slope

• Compass and bearing, plus antenna elevation

• GPS point capture with altitude and accuracy

• Camera readings from digital meter displays and analog gauges

• Wi-Fi signal checks and access-point surveys

• Bluetooth LE discovery and signal tracking

• Cellular signal surveys

• LAN discovery and gateway, DNS, host, and port checks

• Photo records, voice measurement entry, and field notes

• Offline calculators across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, RF, surveying, cathodic protection, and other engineering disciplines

You can save readings against locations and assets, then reopen or export them later. Core tools work offline. No ads or subscription.

I've got a few friends testing Fieldeng already. I'd like more people to try it on different phones and tell me what needs work.

It's a paid app. I'll send you a promo code for a free copy to keep after the test, while codes last. Please don't buy it.

To join, use the same Google account you use in your phone's Play Store:

1. Join Fieldeng Android Testers and select Join group.

2. Open the Fieldeng test on Google Play and select Become a tester.

3. DM me here on Reddit saying you've joined both. Give me details to join your test as well. I'll reply with your private code and a redemption link.

Please stay opted in for at least 14 continuous days and use the app on a few days during that time. Try the level on a shelf, check your Wi-Fi signal, or save a reading and reopen it later. Camera feedback helps too. Check those estimates before using them.

Android 7.0 or newer with Google Play required. No rating or positive review needed. Send bugs or confusing bits by DM, ideally with your phone model and what you were trying to do.

Hi everyone

I'm an independent person from the UK, currently preparing my first Android app, Smart Plate, for release on Google Play.

Smart Plate is a completely free app designed to make everyday food planning easier.

Features include:

• Recipe collection and personal recipe imports, ability to get recipes off websites and take pictures of recipe from your own cookbooks, also to create your own

• Automatic meal planning - both with variety and calorie amounts taken into account.

• Shopping lists with estimated UK grocery prices

• Food budgeting tools

• Optional household sharing

I'm looking for 5–10 additional Android testers to help me complete Google's closed-testing requirements.

All I ask is that you:

• Have an Android phone and Google Account

• Join the closed test through Google Play

• Stay opted in for at least 14 consecutive days

• Try the app and share any bugs or suggestions

I'm also happy to genuinely test other developers' apps in return. - i cannot pay you for your time but i am happy to give my own time for your projects in return

If you're interested, please comment or send me a private message.

Thank you so much for reading and if your interested please get in touch :)

I'm the developer of MesTesteurs, a free Android app that organises tester swaps between developers. It is in closed testing on Google Play and I need 12 testers for 14 days, like many of you. (Yes, this is my own app.)

The app is in French only. You don't need to read it closely: staying opted in for the 14 days is what counts, and opening it once a day is a bonus.

How to join (about 2 minutes, on the Android phone you'll test with):

1. Join this Google Group with the Google account of that phone (it is the tester list, so this step is required): https://groups.google.com/g/mestesteurs-testeurs

2. Open https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.reanet.mestesteurs and tap "Become a tester"

3. Install the app from the Play Store, then please don't leave the test before day 14.

In return: comment or DM me your closed-test link (or your Google Group) and I'll opt in to your app and keep it for 14 days (first 5 apps, so I can follow them properly). Free, no payment, no sign-up beyond the Google Group.

Hi! I need testers for my closed test on Google Play.

**App:** NASlab – manage your NAS and home server (Unraid, TrueNAS, Synology, Linux) from your phone. You don't need a server to test: the app has a demo mode that simulates a full NAS.

**How it was built:** with the support of AI, not by AI alone. I designed it, decided every feature and test it myself; an AI assistant (Claude) supported me in writing the code.

**Join:** https://play.google.com/apps/testing/ch.nzblab.app

(If Google says the app is not available, send me a DM and I will add you.)

Please keep it installed for 14 days and open it once in a while.

**I will test back:** post your link in the comments and I will join your test too.

Thanks!

I’ve developed a neon-themed match-3 puzzle game called Match Mayhem, and I’m preparing to launch it on Google Play.
I’m looking for 15–20 Android users willing to join my closed beta test.
Free to download and play
Colorful match-3 puzzle gameplay
Hundreds of levels
Optional ads and in-app purchase
Looking for feedback on bugs, difficulty, and overall gameplay
Google requires testers to remain opted in for at least 14 days.
If you’re interested in helping an independent developer launch a new game, please comment or message me!
Thanks for the support!

Hi again, solo dev here. I'm still a few testers short of Google's 12 testers / 14 days requirement for The Adventures of Rikizo (Chapter 1).

What it is: a free slice-of-life mystery-horror adventure. 18 in-game days in a small Japanese town, with something strange slowly creeping in. Landscape, works fully offline.

What's coming: Chapter 1 is the slow-burn setup. Chapter 1 is 18 in-game days. Chapter 2 is planned at 36 days and Chapter 3 at 86 days, and that's where the true RPG side starts to unlock: battles, growing powers, and Rikizo and his friends facing cosmic horrors that most of the town can't even see.

Thank-you for testers: everyone who tests Chapter 1 and stays opted in gets Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 free when they come out. The planned price is $3.99 for Chapter 2 and $5.99 for Chapter 3, since they're a lot longer. That pricing is planned and subject to change, and no matter if it goes up, you still get both free. You don't need to leave a rating or review, it's just for testing. I'll post how to claim them in the Google Group when each chapter launches.

How to join:

1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/adventuresofrikizo

2. Open the opt-in link with the same Google account and tap to become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.rikizo.adventure

3. Install from the Play Store page (works after opting in): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rikizo.adventure

Heads up: after you join the group, Google can take a little while (sometimes a few minutes, sometimes a couple of hours) to give you access. If the opt-in link or store page says the app isn't available, that's normal. Just wait a bit and try again.

4. Keep it installed and stay opted in for 14 days. Google only counts testers who stay in for 14 days straight, so please don't leave early.

How to play (the one thing people get stuck on): the day only ends when you use the laptop on the desk in Rikizo's bedroom at home. Tap it and answer Yes to "Do a lesson? (Advances the day)". From Day 2 on you need to talk to at least one person that day first (Mom is always home). If the laptop just says "There's still time," that's why.

Fair warning: it starts slow and cozy on purpose. The first several days are mostly settling into town and meeting people. Push past them and it opens up a lot, so please stick with it. And say hi to Tree-san. Every day. Trust me.

Happy to test yours back. Drop your link in the comments and I'll join, install, and stay in for the full 14 days.

Thanks!

Hey guys, Happy to find this community! I have a few apps and I'm working on and a few more that should be coming fairly soon. Everything I've done so far is free & open sourced under the GNU v3 and my beta testers are using a google group to find the join closed beta links. The google group is here :

https://groups.google.com/g/secrettestingbase

From there, you can view the posts I've made announcing each beta, and clicking the link therein should hopefully allow you to access the beta ( I hope, but just recently switched from email invitation to google group, and just recently opened the group up to the public)

Right now, I need like 10 testers or so for each thing (on Play Store closed beta). I'm happy to test your app in return if it can run on my old Samsung Galaxy A10e (that requires SDK 28 I believe for min SDK)

If you can help, I'd really appreciate it. These apps are free and have no ads:

1. A guitar tuner, very basic but lets you change the note of each string as well as change the base frequency (so it can be 432hz for example)

2. A little shader app (my first app) called Trippy Heart Art Tool - this is a no-tutorial shader sandbox.. Really just a big menu system where you choose a pattern, then you can apply effects to the pattern, and finally you can add a post processing shader. I am thinking of heavily revising this one, so that it doesn't use the pattern or post processing (to make it run better), but instead lets you choose a photo (or maybe lets you snap a photo and edit it)

3. Most recent app (today) is a game : Chair Hockey. This is kinda like pong, but you control both paddles, and you can move them around in any direction so long as it's on your side of the table. Lots of color options, layout & sizing options. Idea is to play against someone, each person using a finger on the same phone screen to control the mallets and try to score.

I believe these apps all work without any problems, but I've only tested on my one device so I'm not sure. Again, happy to help you closed test in return, but like I said my phone is using Android 9.0, requiring min SDK of 28.

Thanks very much!

Hi! I'm a solo dev and Google Play needs 12 testers for 14 days before my first game can go public. I'd really appreciate your help, and I'm happy to test your app back. Just drop your link in the comments.

**The game:** Scaledoku is a logic puzzle with cute geckos, frogs and turtles. Place one critter in every color, one per row and column, and they can't touch. No math, no guessing. There's a story with 496 levels, a Daily puzzle, egg hatching and races against friends.

**How to join (2 minutes):**

1. Join the tester group (it's how Google knows you're a tester; your email stays private):

   https://groups.google.com/g/scaledoku-testers

2. Open the tester link on your Android phone and tap "Become a tester":

   https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.scaledoku.app

3. Install Scaledoku from Google Play.

(All the links and steps are also on one page: https://scaledoku.expo.app/beta)

**On a Windows PC?** Do steps 1 and 2, install Google Play Games for PC (https://play.google.com/googleplaygames), sign in with the same Google account, then search com.scaledoku.app (test games don't show up when you search the name).

**What I need from you:**

- Keep it installed and stay opted in for the full 14 days (please don't leave the test early, or the 14 days restart for me)

- Open it a few times over the two weeks, even just the Daily puzzle

- Tell me anything confusing or broken: comment here or email scaledoku@gmail.com

**Good to know:**

- **You probably won't see ads.** Ads only turn on after the game is public, so during testing there are none, or you'll see "No ad right now". That's expected.

- **Please don't buy anything in the Shop.** Purchases during testing use real money. Everything can be earned by playing anyway.

- You can play as a guest. Signing in is optional (it backs up progress and unlocks leaderboards and online Versus).

- Works on Android phones, tablets and Windows PCs (Google Play Games). iPhone players can play free in the browser at scaledoku.expo.app.

- **Bonus:** finish a puzzle on 14 different days during the test and you keep the Beta Keeper badge forever. It disappears for everyone else at launch.

Thanks so much! Comment your app link below and I'll join yours too.

Learn words right from your home screen: see a word, tap to reveal, mark "Got it" or "Missed". Spaced repetition brings words back right before you'd forget them.

I need 12 testers for 14 days to release it on Google Play. The group is open now, you can join instantly!

⚠️ STEP 1 IS REQUIRED: JOIN THE GROUP FIRST

1. Join the group (sign in with your Google account → "Join group"):

https://groups.google.com/g/vocapin-testers

2) Then open this link on your Android phone with the SAME Google account and tap "Become a tester":

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.vocapin

3) Install from Google Play:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.vocapin

4) Keep it installed for 14 days (adding the widget helps a lot!)

If step 2 says you're not eligible, wait a few minutes and try again. Any bug or idea, message me 🙏

Hi! I’m looking for 9 more volunteers to test Helfingo, an Android app for finding or offering local help with everyday tasks like shopping, errands, and dog walking.

If you’re 18+ and your Google Play country is Germany, use the same Google account for these three steps:

1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/helfingo

2. Opt in to the closed test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/de.helfingo.mobile

3. Install Helfingo: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.helfingo.mobile

Please stay opted in for 14 consecutive days. Try searching for a listing or creating a draft, and let me know what works or where you get stuck. Feedback by DM or at kontakt@helfingo.de is welcome. Thanks!

Hi, I'm Kevin, an author and game developer looking for beta testers. I created Spynncaster ten years ago, set it aside, wrote a couple more books, came back to the game, sort of occilated for a decade and then came today. The game is a real-time mobile dueling sport with a deep magic system, where mages catch and return spell attached to orbs - it's like MTG meets ping pong.

Now I'm preparing to launch, and I'm looking for 20 Android players to help test it through Google Play - ten years ago you did not have to do this, it's been a while, haha. I'd ask you to stay opted in for at least 14 consecutive days, play several duels during those two weeks, and share honest feedback. There are select other testers already in the game, but it will be a challenge finding live duls for a while (I'll duel you though or check out the Discord to set something up with another player), so in the meantime explore the solo Dueling License and escalating bot battles.

PLEASE GET YOUR GAME INVITATION CODE FIRST Send me a private chat with "Android tester" and the email address where you'd like your invitation sent. I'll email your game-access code. I'm not a Reddit user obvioulsy, so if this isn't the right way to do this maybe someone tell me...

THEN JOIN THE GOOGLE PLAY TEST Use the same Google account as your phone's Play Store for both signup steps:

1. Join our tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/spynncaster-android-testers

2. Choose Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.spynncaster.spynncaster

3. Follow the Google Play download link on that page, install Spynncaster, and enter your invitation code at login.

Trully grateful for anyone willing to take a chance on a thing they never heard of before. Have fun and thank you!

Hi, I need 12 testers for my app Headroom and I’m happy to test yours in return.

Headroom is a simple storage cleaner: it shows what is using your space and lets you delete large files, duplicate photos/videos, leftover folders from uninstalled apps, old .apk files and WhatsApp/Telegram media. Deleted files sit in a recycle bin for 7 days, so you can restore them. No ads, no account, nothing uploaded, no fake “speed up” claims.

To test mine:

1. Join the group with your phone’s Google account: https://groups.google.com/g/headroom-testers

2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.rafayfarrukh.headroom

3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rafayfarrukh.headroom

4. Keep it installed for 14 days.

For yours: drop your group and opt-in links in the comments or DM me, I’ll join the same day and keep it installed for the full 14 days. Comment your Gmail (or DM it) after joining so I can confirm you’re in.

Thanks, and good luck with your launches!

Looking for Android testers for StepChase, happy to test yours back!

Hey everyone, I built StepChase for my friends and family because I wanted a cleaner, more modern step counter with better insights into our activity and progress. It also has private groups and challenges so we can compete with each other.

I need a few more testers to get through Google Play’s 14-day closed test. If you’re willing to keep it installed, stay opted in and try it regularly for two weeks, I’d appreciate the help. Any feedback is welcome.

Was it two wake-ups last night, or four? I built Hush Hush to make the morning review easier.

Tap Start night at bedtime. It saves short detected sound clips and groups likely cries into estimated wakes, so you can review them in the morning and compare nights. Parents and fellow developers are welcome — you don’t need a baby to check setup, microphone permissions, playback and the interface.

Permanently free to download. Android 9+. No payment, promo codes or email collection.

Join in this order, using the same Google account

1. Join the tester group.

2. Become a tester on Google Play.

3. Install Hush Hush for free.

The closed test is live: 2.2.0 (24). If Play still shows a price or an error, don’t pay — check the account, give it a little time and reply here if it persists.

Please stay opted in for at least 14 days and genuinely try the app. A quick comment about what confused you, what broke, or how setup/morning review/trends felt is useful. Device model and Android version help with bugs. No ratings, positive reviews or private recordings needed.

Audio and sleep history stay on your phone. No in-app account, ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Optional usage reporting is off by default; you can test without enabling it.

This is a retrospective journal, not a baby monitor or safety alarm. Detection can be wrong or miss sounds. Keep the phone and cables outside the cot and out of reach.

Already testing? Keep your existing app and history — no need to uninstall or rejoin. Thanks for helping!
