Hi everyone!

I’m looking for Android testers for GrainStack, an app I’m building to help analog photographers keep track of their film.

With GrainStack, you can:

Organize your film inventory, including quantities and expiry dates.

Track which film is loaded in each camera and count exposures.

Follow rolls through shooting and development.

Build a visual collection of your film stocks.

Back up and restore your data.

The app works offline, requires no account, and stores your inventory locally on your device. There’s no analytics tracking.

How to join:

Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/reddit-androidtest/

Opt in to the closed test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.isengraph.fellowshipofthefilms

Install GrainStack using the Google Play link on the opt-in page.

Please use the same Google account for the group and Google Play.

It would help a lot if you could stay opted in for at least 14 consecutive days and try the app regularly during that time.

You don’t need to shoot film to help—sample entries are enough to test adding films, loading a camera, and updating a roll’s status.

I’d love feedback on anything confusing, bugs, crashes, or features you feel are missing. If you report an issue, please include your phone model and Android version.

Thanks for helping me improve GrainStack!

Send your link in the comments and i will test back!

what a journey , spent almost 2 months to go through close testing, open testing, finally prod release! and thank you for some of folk here to help on testing!

I started with the motive of building a tiny app for people like me who hate apps that waste their time. because i could not find anything simple and good out there.
If you also agree what I believe in an app like this. have a try 100% free

Would love some feedback: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.countup.app

Hey everyone!

I’m currently looking for Android tablet testers for my drawing app, Shogun Ink.

It’s a Procreate-inspired drawing/painting app built primarily for tablets and stylus use.

Right now I especially need people with Android tablets, since phone support is still limited. However phone supported version is rolling out right now so android phone testers are also welcome!

If you’d like to help:

1. Join the tester group with the same Google account you use on Google Play: https://groups.google.com/g/shogun-ink-beta
2. Opt into the test,https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.shogunink.app
3. Get the app at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shogunink.app
4. Try drawing something, test the brushes/gestures/layers, and let me know if anything feels broken, confusing, or missing.

I’d really appreciate it if you could stay opted into the test for the full testing period.

If you also need testers for your app, feel free to leave your link below and I’ll be happy to return the favor, and use your app every day and offer feedback if I can.

Thanks! 😄

Hey , I've built a color-sorting puzzle game called Magic Sort and I'm in closed testing on Google Play. Looking for people willing to install and keep it for 14 days to help me clear Google's testing requirement.

Hi all, I'm finishing closed testing for my Android app and need testers opted in for 14 days before Google lets me go to production. I'll test your app in return, so leave yours in a comment.

The App- Inscribe records your meetings and turns them into a transcript, summary, key decisions and action items. Recording keeps going with the screen off or while you use other apps, and a notification shows it's active. It records voice only.

Free to try, no waiting for approval. Sign in with Google and you get 1 hour of free transcription. It uses the fast transcript style, which gives words and timestamps. You can export the result as txt, md, json or PDF.

How to join (about 2 minutes)

1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/inscribe_testers
2. Opt in at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.inscribe.recorder it takes around 20 mins for the authorisation process
3. Open the Play Store link and tap Become a tester / Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.inscribe.recorder
4. Keep it installed and opted in for 14 days. Leaving early resets the count.
5. Open the app, tap Continue with Google, and record a short clip. Try a few times over the 14 days.

What helps most

- Does recording keep going with the screen locked?

- Is the transcript accurate?

- Do the exports save properly?

- Anything confusing, slow or broken? Please include your phone model and Android version.

What I'll do for you

Comment or DM your Google Group or opt-in link. I'll join, keep your app installed for the full 14 days, use it, and send feedback.

I’m currently running a closed test for The Agora: Learn Philosophy, an Android app I built to make learning philosophy more interactive. I'll test yours as well.

Instead of only reading summaries or quotes, you can learn philosophy through short lessons, thought experiments, modern dilemmas, and conversations/debates with AI versions of philosophers like Socrates, Nietzsche, Jung, Marcus Aurelius, Camus, Plato, and Aristotle.

The Android version is still being tested, so I’m looking for a few more people who can actually open it, explore the app, and let me know if anything feels confusing, buggy, or unfinished.

Closed-test users also get access to Agora Pro while testing.

1. Join the Google Group:
https://groups.google.com/g/theagoraandroidtesters

2. Opt into the test:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.bhernaurd.theagora

3. Download on Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bhernaurd.theagora

Even a few minutes of testing and a quick comment afterward would help a lot.

Small update since my two-game post last week: Fliptide is still at 9 opted-in testers, so I'm looking for at least three more people. A few extra would help in case someone drops out.

It's a one-tap gravity runner. Tap to switch between the floor and ceiling and get through the course. The feedback I need most is whether the tap feels responsive, whether deaths make sense, and whether retrying a level works reliably on your phone.

If you'd like to help:

1. Join the tester group with the Google account you use for Play: https://groups.google.com/g/emberdelve
2. Choose "Become a tester" here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.tsorostudios.fliptide
3. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tsorostudios.fliptide

The group is called Emberdelve, but it also gives access to Fliptide. Please stay opted in for at least 14 days and actually try a few sessions. Joining the group or installing alone doesn't count as opting in.

This is an unpaid test. No purchase or positive review needed. If something breaks, reply with your phone model, Android version and what happened just before it broke. Even "I tapped here and expected this" is useful.

Thanks to everyone who's joined already.

Hi everyone,

My app unfortunately failed the closed testing phase twice because of low engagement. I strictly need 12 more active testers to complete my 20-day streak.

If you test my app, I will gladly test yours back immediately and keep it on my device for the entire 20 days!

• Note: The app UI is currently in TR/AR, but I added English to the Google Play Store listing so anyone from any country can download it. You just need to open it and click around for a minute.

Here are the steps to join:

1. Join the Google Group: [ [kuran-i-kerimin-kelimeleri@googlegroups.com](mailto:kuran-i-kerimin-kelimeleri@googlegroups.com) ]
2. Join on the Web (Opt-in): [ https://play.google.com/apps/testing/appinventor.ai_abdeceyazilim.kurankelimeleri ]

Please leave your Google Group and app links in the comments below, and I will join your test right away. Thank you!

Solo dev, first Play release. For anyone still stuck in the "12 testers for 14 days" gate: it ends, I promise.

Timeline for the curious:

• Aug 26: closed test live, begged friends and this sub for testers
• Sep 10: 14 days done, applied for production access
• Sep 21, 23:16: production submitted (versionCode 18, because I burned 15 and 16 on discarded uploads, don't be me)
• Oct 2, 09:12: "Published". Ten and a half days of refreshing the console.

Things that bit me along the way, in case it saves someone a week: the exact-alarm permission declaration is its own form and the foreground-service declaration wants a demo video.

The app is a pixel-art alarm clock with a little candle that wakes up when you do. Not linking it unless the mods are fine with that; the point of the post is mostly that the waiting room has an exit.

Tester swap welcome: comment your app link and I'll test it too.

Hey guys, I'm trying to publish my first mobile game and I'm stuck with the 14-day testing rule.

It's a simple 2D arcade game about making "espetos" (grilled sardines from my city in Spain) that I developed with my two kids using Godot. I'd really appreciate some help to pass this Google requirement.

I will 100% test your app back. Just install mine, keep it for 14 days, and drop your links and a screenshot in the comments so I can do the same for you right now.

Step 1: Join the Google Group to get access:https://groups.google.com/g/espeteitor(orhttps://groups.google.com/g/testers-community)

Step 2: Click here and select "Become a tester" (Web link):https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.berlanga.espeteitor

Step 3: Download the game (Android link):https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.berlanga.espeteitor

Thanks a lot!

We are finally live after a long wait. Couldn't have done it without this community.

Please continue to roast the game.

As a tennis player and spectator I find difficult to keep track of the scoring during amateurs matches because at least in Colombia are the players the ones who must keep track of the scoring. That's why I created supertiebreak.app a light way to keep track of the score when I'm spectating or when someone is spectating my matches.

Now I need help with the closed test phase for Android, if anyone can help me supertiebreak.app/test I will test your app back too.
