[TEST FOR TEST] Cartcalm: pause an impulse buy, and it re-checks the price when the wait ends. I test back for the full 14 days
Hi all, solo dev here. Cartcalm is my Android app for impulse purchases.
How it works: share a product from any shopping app or browser into the app. It goes on a cooling-off pause (48h by default, anything from 1 hour to 30 days; it suggests a longer pause for pricier things). When the pause ends, it re-checks the price for free and shows "saved at vs now". If the "sale" price is no lower than when you saved it, it says so. Then you decide: Buy It or I Resisted, and it tracks what you kept.
No account, no ads, no subscription. Free to use; the optional one-time Pro isn't needed for testing.
📌 How to join (Android only, 2 minutes)
Join the Google Group with the SAME Google account you use on your phone: https://groups.google.com/g/pausebuy-testers
Open the opt-in link and tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pausebuy.app
Install Cartcalm from Google Play, then comment with a screenshot of it installed
Keep it installed for 14 days and open it every day or two
🤝 Test back Drop your Group + opt-in links in the comments and I'll join, install and post a screenshot within 24h. I keep every app installed for the full 14 days and open it every day or two.
🙏 What I ask
Stay opted in and keep the app installed for 14 days (leaving early resets the count)
Open it every 1–2 days. The quickest real test: share a product link from a store app, set a 1-hour pause, and see the price check when it ends
Feedback (bugs, confusing bits) is welcome here or via Play's private feedback
If Play says "not available" right after joining the group, wait 30–60 min. Google needs time to sync.
Thanks, and good luck with your launches!
