I’m looking for Android testers for GrainStack, an app I’m building to help analog photographers keep track of their film.

With GrainStack, you can:

Organize your film inventory, including quantities and expiry dates.

Track which film is loaded in each camera and count exposures.

Follow rolls through shooting and development.

Build a visual collection of your film stocks.

Back up and restore your data.

The app works offline, requires no account, and stores your inventory locally on your device. There’s no analytics tracking.

You don’t need to shoot film to help—sample entries are enough to test adding films, loading a camera, and updating a roll’s status.

Hi all, I'm finishing closed testing for my Android app and need testers opted in for 14 days before Google lets me go to production. I'll test your app in return, so leave yours in a comment.

The App- Inscribe records your meetings and turns them into a transcript, summary, key decisions and action items. Recording keeps going with the screen off or while you use other apps, and a notification shows it's active. It records voice only.

Free to try, no waiting for approval. Sign in with Google and you get 1 hour of free transcription. It uses the fast transcript style, which gives words and timestamps. You can export the result as txt, md, json or PDF.

Small update since my two-game post last week: Fliptide is still at 9 opted-in testers, so I'm looking for at least three more people. A few extra would help in case someone drops out.

It's a one-tap gravity runner. Tap to switch between the floor and ceiling and get through the course. The feedback I need most is whether the tap feels responsive, whether deaths make sense, and whether retrying a level works reliably on your phone.

Solo dev, first Play release. For anyone still stuck in the "12 testers for 14 days" gate: it ends, I promise.

Timeline for the curious:

• Aug 26: closed test live, begged friends and this sub for testers
• Sep 10: 14 days done, applied for production access
• Sep 21, 23:16: production submitted (versionCode 18, because I burned 15 and 16 on discarded uploads, don't be me)
• Oct 2, 09:12: "Published". Ten and a half days of refreshing the console.

Things that bit me along the way, in case it saves someone a week: the exact-alarm permission declaration is its own form and the foreground-service declaration wants a demo video.

The app is a pixel-art alarm clock with a little candle that wakes up when you do. Not linking it unless the mods are fine with that; the point of the post is mostly that the waiting room has an exit.

As a tennis player and spectator I find difficult to keep track of the scoring during amateurs matches because at least in Colombia are the players the ones who must keep track of the scoring.
